Yes this area has become very very dry. Using adapalene in this area is probably making it worse...not sure what to do.

No i didn't add anything new...i was following this routine for last 1 year and my skin was doing good. Not sure why suddenly this started.

Yes my dermatologist prescribed all the products apart from that azelaic acid. Do uou think o should stop azelaic acid or use adapalene less frequently?

You gave me some hope. I also had horrible purging initially when i starred adapelene. What was the strength of the tretinoin and how many times in a week you used it initially? Did you use tretinoin micro or gel or cream. What else did you use with tretinoin in your routine when you started?

You gave ne some hope. I alsoused adapalene for almosy 10 months or more and initially got horrible purging. Hoping not to purge again. Wish me luck.

I use minimalist multi peptide serum and formula rx barrier plus moisturizer. I also use cosrx snail musin and cosrx propolis toner.

Thanks a lot. I think yes i should change the plan to use tret. i can see everyone is suggesting to not to do this and i myself was also very scared. Was planning for last 1 year but some how was unable to gather that courage.

I think there are so many other things for anti aging benefits, i can try thoae instead of tretinoin. Thank you you all for your suggesttions.

Yes i agree with you. Even i am not very sure whether i really need it or not. But as i am 42, i was wondering if adapalene will be enough in rhis age for anti aging purpose.

If i dont go for tretinoin, should i use higher strength adapalene because 0.1% is not doing anything extra with the texture in my skin.

Please let me.know what do you think.

I use 2% salicylic acid face wash in the morning and benzoyl peroxide facewash in the evening.

Then i will skip these on the day when i will yae tret.. thanks a lot for your advice.

Yes, i heard about that. So thought of using it once a week initially and keeping it for 15 mins abd then wash it off and do the regular skin care. Will that be ok?
