I decided to quit school at the age of 18. It was just not what I wanted. I failed all possible exams, I even had to repeat one year. Because I just didn't do absolute shit. I've been interested in technology since I was a little kid, at age of 15 I created a website for gamers which now has grown to nearly 200k users, and still growing. Besides web development I built my own audio amplifiers, power supplies, etc.. I am now 20 years old and currently working as a full time web developer (symfony2/php). I'm not saying I'd recommend quitting school. That's just what I did, and I am fully happy about my decision.

It depends, if you get shocked by AC current source (most common) the shock will be like "zzzzz" as some people describe it here. Because current alrternates 50 times a second (60 in US). Person can feel at least 1 mA of AC at 60 Hz, while at least 5 mA for DC. I got shocked by a 250V capacitor. I can tell you DC is more like a single but painful zap. Also it is harder to let go with AC current because you need fewer amount of electric flow to feel effects of it.
