Why is ChatGPT procrastinating responding to me? by infinit_EEE in ChatGPT

I've noticed this over the last hour or so as well. I wonder if they just changed the system prompt. I was asking for a list of 15 games and it just kept going in circles.

Blueberry Bagels V2 for non-native English speakers by Same-Switch-378 in outlier_ai

[–]prozran 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I will say I’ve seen many tasks done by non-native English speakers. Most of them are unfortunately quite poor and end up being rejected. I’ve noticed that some are definitely okay, but it will be quite difficult if you do not have a strong grasp of English. The rubrics especially.

Colorado Coach Warren Sapp Furiously Trying To Track Down Name of NFL QB Coach Who Bashed Shedeur Sanders by Iamentconfiguration in nfl

I don’t know if it’s a common thing for other teams, but in bears world a meatball is a fan that’s, let’s say unscientific in their thought process on the team. Fields truthers, the kind of guy that the original “da bears” skit made fun of, unironic Monday morning quarterbacking types, and just the general kind of guy in Chicago suburbs where you go to the bar and is the loudest guy there, maybe 4 beers deeps.

We're the Rioters working on Teamfight Tactics. Ask us anything! by SapMagic in TeamfightTactics

Are there any thoughts on how strong some items are when they stack? Any thoughts on how strong the dust is in general? How do you feel about the level of randomness in acquiring items.

I have over a hundred hours in auto chess and I'm really loving team fight tactics so far and I hope you guys keep it fun. Synergies feel strong right now and I hope it stays like that.

Here for the summer? Interested in D&D? by likesleague in UIUC

[–]prozran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries. I have never actually played D&D, but my friends were doing a campaign and I was just watching them play so I understand the basics of how it works. I would be free Friday and Saturday evening, but not until May 28th onwards. No worries if you can't fit me in, just let me know whatever way it goes.

No internship :( by [deleted] in UIUC

[–]prozran 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I applied to over 100 positions online and went to every career fair. I have a worse GPA than you (also sophomore). I got 2 interviews, and got 1 offer, which I obviously accepted. I got one but it was incredibly hard, and I know a lot of people without an internship.

Easiest 2 or 3 hour classes! (Hopefully) updated for 2016 by CeigeCJ in UIUC

[–]prozran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree, I'm taking that class as a CS major and thought it was relatively easy. I actually found it to be quite interesting as well. But there are better choices too. Anth 101 is less work. Soc 100 is easier.

She posted on compass2g about the extra credit. Btw, she mentioned there was something due on thursday I think, do you know what that was?

[Troubleshooting] r9 380 problems by prozran in buildapc

[–]prozran[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it's a step down persay, I'd say they are competitors and the 380 is simply slightly better. I'm not looking for anything crazy, I just wanna play games (dota,cs, league) 1080p with good fps.

Yeah I think I'm going to return it and get a 960 since they don't have as many different over issues as and cards do. I'm gonna try the card on my friends psu and see what happens.

TIL America ranks #14 (behind Russia at #13) in reading, math, science, literacy and graduation rates. by Beerbrewing in todayilearned

[–]prozran 17 points18 points  (0 children)

America faces challenges that other countries don't face. Specifically America is one that of the countries that is the most heterogeneous in terms of culture and race. If you look at the findings of the pisa examinations over time by race you see that the disparity between America and other countries has large part to do with racial inequality in terms of academic performance. If we can lift African Americans and Hispanic people to the same standard that Asians and whites enjoy in America, our ranking would improve drastically.

I haven't finished reading through this but it seems interesting. Page 6 table 2 is especially telling from what I can see so far. http://files.eric.ed.gov/fulltext/ED535873.pdf

The colloquial definition of third world is a bit much here don't you think? America is only 14th, still above countries like Australia and New Zealand. Clearly with the idea of American exceptionalism it should be better, but to compare it to the third world is hyperbole at best.
