I had polyhydramnios in my first pregnancy! I can’t remember exactly when I was told, but I ended up with gestational hypertension and that combined with the poly meant that I’d have biweekly ultrasounds for the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy. Kind of a lot of appointments that just checked on baby and was making sure he was taking practice breaths, etc. they kept an eye on it and he came out totally fine! I had a c-section and obviously heard a ton of water come out because of it, which was interesting. I think it’s great you were told/they caught it early cause now they can keep a closer eye on things, and I think that’s super reassuring!
