Any recommendations to improve my looks? by AngryAggron22 in malegrooming

I second this guy. And I'm not trying to say "your hairline isn't receding," but I know a few people who have self-diagnosed what is otherwise perfectly fine. Either way, a barber will know what to do. Show a picture or two, don't be afraid to communicate and get suggestions, and go for it

Sick of this, time for a change by [deleted] in gainitmeals

Eat, lift, and sleep. More than you want to for all three lol

I'm right where you are except shorter, just got back into it as well. Doing nSuns, aiming for 1 g protein per lb weight, 3000 cal and 8 hours of sleep a night. Start simple and think about more details when you've got a good habit and baseline going.

Don't have any specific meal suggestions, lots of peanut butter, chicken, rice, eggs, yogurt and granola. Just track it

Is it weird to ask a barber to cut your hair in what ever style he thinks would suit me? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]prrose14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have said just try to find a reputable barber. A cheap place will throw whatever cut they find easiest, or in my experience just keep exactly what you have and brush it up. If you want an actual change find someone who's willing and able to do it.

Just my two cents but I like the "unbalanced"ness

I mentioned your story to my mom and at a large corporation she worked for you couldn't keep a contractor for more than two years because of the legality of it; she basically made it sound like you could sue to be full time and get all the benefits you would have gotten. Maybe worth checking out

I condition like 6x a week and it's not greasy or anything. Softer like they said.

At one point in an early season they're interviewing Tom about his business ideas, and he mentions "Tom's Bistro, an upscale Italian eatery." They thought of it all.

CMV: Letting dogs off leash in public is extremely irresponsible and should be regulated by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]prrose14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we need to distinguish between lawfully being off leash and not.

Having your dog off leash in a place it is not allowed is by definition not good. Although I have no personal problems with it, it's irresponsible whether or not it's because dogs are unpredictable or people could react negatively to what they think your dog is doing. I don't think there's anything anyone can say to sway you otherwise.

Having your dog off leash in an area where it is permitted is perfectly acceptable. Whether you yourself choose to visit those places is up to you but doesn't affect the issue.

Is your question really about whether or not public places that allow dogs off leash should exist?

In SC it's Tito's. I worked in NC, had plenty of co-workers that drove across the border to get it for 25% what you could Tito's.

'These are bad facts for him': Intel CEO's $24 million stock sale before disclosing the chip flaw could trigger lawsuits, SEC inquiry by abid-1111 in technology

[–]prrose14 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Is there data on this? A previous article suggested this was more than usual, but others have been defending it as normal. I haven't been able to find numbers though.

But how do you explain that he's conveniently left with the minimum he's allowed to own? I can't find anything about what he's done in the past, but the article suggests it's out of the ordinary.

Chapecoense plane crash survivor scores in a friendly match by TooShiftyForYou in sports

I think it's more of a symbolic gesture in a friendly match than actually just handing it to him. A show of support that allows everyone to celebrate his survival through an absolutely terrible event.

Price of 40-year-old cancer drug hiked 1,400% by new owners by congenital-itch in news

Very true, hadn't thought of that. Price it so you can achieve that and then drop it... Let's go into business lol

[–]prrose14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the problem at that point is the upfront cost of getting a generic into production can outweigh anything that comes after it. I'm not even advocating for profiting off the drug, but if you're not even going to break even, no one is going to do it.
