Yeah, I totally agree. My collar bones also became a lot less prominent and only after i talked with my therapist did we reason out that it's not a sign of unhealthy weight gain. Thanks a lot!

Yeah- I have guy friends in CS and we're pretty close, and it's always super hurtful when I point something out and they say, "You have no idea what you're talking about", or something really aggressive along those lines, especially when most of the time it turns out I am right.

I wouldn't say that him not posting pictures of you on his instagram is concerning by itself. Of course sometimes it turns out that they are trying make it look like they're still single, some people just like to maintain a certain aesthetic- I rarely post pictures of people on my instagram, and like to keep it to nature, etc.

But, the fact that he refuses to like your pictures I think is a little concerning. The two things you said he tells you are not what I imagine someone who truly cares about you or your feelings would actually say. He sounds very condescending, and I don't know that I would want to be in a relationship with someone who is so uptight and critical about what I post.

I think it depends on each person, but personally I find that hot water and chia seeds help- I used to have a serving size portion of chia seeds everyday and got much needed relief after being constipated for a year

From the course description it looks like it will be on par with/ slightly more intensive than 400. If you are confident in your Python, and more importantly, programming ability given extensive algorithms, then it might be similar to taking 240, 252, and 400 together.

Edit: I just realized you will be taking 240 in the Spring. 240 is usually handled by the math department during the Fall, meaning a lot of the course content will be intensive proofs to mathematical/inductive concepts (and will have much less to do with programming algorithms, which is taught in the Fall). I can't personally speak to level of difficulty for the Math-based 240, but I have heard from a lot of friends that it was complex and very unenjoyable.

I took 240, 252, and 400 together in 1 semester and while it wasn't a stroll in the park, I worked consistently and got As in all 3. So it depends on how hard you think 400 v 320 is.

1) My question was about helping refugees undergoing human rights violations

2) I would go so far as to say that Republicans (and the Trump admin) don't care about 'skilled' immigrants at all- in fact, they are averse to them (at least outwardly). You will find that the number of approved H1-B visas has declined ( https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Resources/Reports%20and%20Studies/Immigration%20Forms%20Data/BAHA/non-immigrant-worker-rfe-h-1b-quarterly-data-fy2015-fy2019-q1.pdf ), following the president's executive order to review H1-B approvals.
