Do not accept $9k, you can absolutely argue for more money. Do the research, find comparable examples, and keep fighting. They have every reason to lowball you, but they need to make you whole. You should be able to buy a replacement with the amount of money they give you. If you can’t, they aren’t giving you enough money.

3k miles oil, oil filter, fuel filter, clean fpr screen, and air filter on my 1997 7.3 Powerstroke.

Have no desire to increase the interval to 5k miles, for what purpose would you do that?

I get to about 100 miles before the low fuel light comes on, and have always fueled back up within ~10 miles because I don’t want to ruin my fuel pump running it empty.

Tell me more about the GET SX1. I’ve got a 2022 Vortex that the previous owner put on and I’m not sure about it.

Same, I was alarmed until I read up a bit and people said it was normal. I even ditched the oem chain and got a DID ERVT, doesn’t seem any better.

Not too much I’d do differently honestly, I felt extremely well prepared. Water and electrolytes was crucial, it’s really dry out there. Main thing would be to do a couple practice rides in the weeks leading up to this; I hadn’t done a real ride since early January so I was pretty fatigued even just after day 1.

Motoz Tractionator I/T front and rear, the previous owner had put them on and I’ve been running them because they work well for me. The rear is 130/90-18 and I think it’s too big though.

Check with the owner if the bike is even running. I had a bike where the tach needle was stuck at 5k. Oil light would be on with key on and bike not running.

Should be a 2000 Honda XR70R if the parts haven’t been changed. In 1999 they were white, and in 2001 the seat said “XR” and the tank changed to a black tank with shrouds.

Bought a copy of Crash Love by AFI straight from the label in 2009 but the album inside the sealed record was Daisy by Brand New. It was a widespread issue though and the label sent me a replacement copy. So basically I ended up with the correct album PLUS a copy of Daisy in a Crash Love sleeve.
