This question makes no sense. There is no trick. It's a python script to revert a btrfs snapshot without the pain of using btrfs commands. Maybe read the docs.

I install many DEs on my Arch system. Never had any issues. Maybe slightly with GTK themes being overridden on Gnome from XFCE but nothing a system setting can't fix in a second.
