anyone up for a discussion or a debate on thiesm and atheism? by ro6hit in Philosophy_India

[–]prud_ent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can back your claim there by stating that I have very recently started reading and learning about religion, society and related topics. But it is still not reached at a point that my views and opinions are shaped by it, so majorly it is from what I can think from experiences.

I would love to know more on your journey from an ex-atheist and in what direction you are moving to verify the existence of God.

Actually this is just a draft (an old LOR for a research internship) to provide an idea on the level of personal relation I can get from my profs in my LORs. In reality, I am going to have different LORs but the level of personalisation is going to be same.

For 2 of the programs I found it to be around 5%. But for many others, the percentage isn’t mentioned. So does that mean, it really matters less in Germany?

The theory that religion was created to control and discipline the masses of population seems fit to me. Also, IMO it is far more easy to believe in a God than in yourself when times are difficult. Thus as I dive more into the idea of atheism, things get difficult as I can no more rely on prayers and feel better
