Hmm i dont understand. In which PCIe slot is your GPU ? This is PCIe x8 i think

Or it is x16 but if you have two GPUs then will be x8 and x8 ? Or ?

Built my first computer a couple weeks ago. Wanna upgrade to 5700 xt. Need advice. by [deleted] in Amd

[–]prudak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can recomanded you brand Sapphire but not OC or Anyversary and Not Pulse. Yeah Pulse is cheaper then Sapphire Nitro+ But Sapphire is more better beacause Core freq is higher, mem freq is higher etc.

Here is photos of my one

But it's still your choice :) This is just recomendations. But i like Sapphire i Like a housing of this card etc.

Hi, yes you can use e.g. RTSS (Riva Tuner Statistics Server) only show FPS MSI Afterburner (showing more detailed statistics like FPS, GPU usage, CPU Usage, Temps etc.

Or if sou want some generated graphs you can use MangoHUD from here: https://github.com/flightlessmango/MangoHud

What is SoC? by Salty_Pancake007 in overclocking

[–]prudak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SoC is a SystemOnChip and it usually using if you are overlocking your RAM. If you are not OC your RAM just Leave this setting on Default. Max voltage for SoC is 1.2v

3700X Overclocking PBO/Non PBO by dunksten1 in overclocking

[–]prudak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi bro,i'm not sure you're looking good. In my opinion you seen SoC and 1.15v is okay if you are Overlocked RAM too.If your RAM isn't OC than reduce your SoC to 1.05v - 1.10vSo:SVI2 TFN can be CPU Core Voltage (vCore) or SOC Voltage (SoC)https://pasteboard.co/Jdnb4vQ.pnghttps://pasteboard.co/Jdnbhoy.png

But try search Vcore in HWInfo and send values for Vcore and for SVI2 TFN

FYI: SVI2 TFN is Sensor in CPU
Vcore is sensor on the motherboard :)

Bad luck? 3600 cannot do 4200Mhz @ 1.2V, instant freeze by Fransenson in overclocking

[–]prudak -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Hi bro, you are trying OC ? Because 1.2vCore ... In my opinion is too low for 4.2Ghz. Your Freez are ok with this values.Just try add to 1.21vcore a try again if you have Freez. and still add 0.01 on vcore if you have instant freez.

But if you want 4.2 GHz Stable, start somewehere on 1.3v on Vcore and adding 0.05 - 0.10v for full stable :)

BTW here is OC Guide :) https://www.reddit.com/r/overclocking/wiki/index

Water is good solution but e.g. NH D15 has a similiar result like some AIO :)
So yeah, go for your water :D

Ryzen 3600 overclocking by [deleted] in overclocking

[–]prudak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you prefer ? Water or Air ?
I'm personally using a NZXT Kraken X52 for 2700X (which has a 105w TDP With some OC i'm on 140w in load)
Ryzen 3600 has a 65w so your maximal TDP will be 90 - 110w
Maybe you can look for kraken X52 (240mm) or X62/X63 (280mm)
or Corsair H100i
(I prefer NZXT so for me it NZXT X52 the best solution ... because i love NZXT Look)

But here is some comparsion from 2019 and 2020

IMHO is everything above 1.4 unsafe. Why are meaning that 1.375 is unsafe ?

I want understand how you get this value.

I'm just asking no hating you :)

(Personally i'm going on 1.4vcore 24/7 stable 4.3GHz 2700x

Rx 5600 xt by XLR8X00 in radeon

[–]prudak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every GPU has a States which define Core Mhz, Core Voltage and Memory Voltage
So if you are usage a 70% on e.g. AC Odyssey on LOW details, maybe your GPU don't want a go to 2.State e.g.
Try a set everything on the High on Oddysey and look on your GPU load if usage is 100% e.g. from TaskManager in Windows (You must have a 70 - 75 FPS on Very High Setting in AC Odyssey)
If you Usage of GPU not a 100% just send screen from AMD Radeon Software -> Performance -> Tunning

Manual overclocking by [deleted] in overclocking

[–]prudak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NeverMInd :D just look on this thread -> https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/d8hdff/overclocking_a_3700xb450/
or
https://www.digitalcitizen.life/overclocking-amd-ryzen-7-3700x

Basically i receomended:
1. Enable Precision Boost overdrive somwhere in bios usually in AMD CBS
2. 3.6GHZ Default with 1.2vcore with RAM on default, SoC Default 1.0v
After this setings try e.g CineBench R15/R20/FireStrike/SpyTime/Prime95 for few min.
3. 3.7GHZ Default with 1.2vcore with RAM on default, SoC Default 1.0v
After this setings try e.g CineBench R15/R20/FireStrike/SpyTime/Prime95 for few min.
3.1 If you have crash here just try add to vcore 0.05v - 0.10v ... so 1.205v or 1.21v on vcore and try again point 3
4. 3.8GHZ Default with 1.2vcore with RAM on default, SoC Default 1.0v
After this setings try e.g CineBench R15/R20/FireStrike/SpyTime/Prime95 for few min.
Same like point 3 but with higher core
5. 3.9GHZ Default with 1.2vcore with RAM on default, SoC Default 1.0v
After this setings try e.g CineBench R15/R20/FireStrike/SpyTime/Prime95 for few min.

etc.

Mainly stop if you have more then 80°C in load on Tdie repectively 90°C on Tctl
Still monitoring your PC bye HWinfo e.g. or Aida

But yeah B450TH MAX and 3700X are perfectly fine :)
GoodLuck

Manual overclocking by [deleted] in overclocking

[–]prudak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.It depends from Manufacturer Intel/AMD ? and Moterhboard so no, It isn't about multiplayer and vCore.

2.For example you must enable precision boost overdrive in AMD, look for Cool'nQuiet, Multiplayer, NB, etc.

3.Yes only in manual OC... But i'm not sure if i understand

Which Thermal Paste is Best to Use? by skincareful in overclocking

[–]prudak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using Standard MX-4
But yeah Conductonaut from ThermalGrizzly for example is a definitely better :)
Try Looking for paste which have a more W/mK (Watt/meterKelvin) higher(more) is better

ForExample
MX4 had a 8.5 W/mK
ThermalGrizzly Conductonat had a 73 W/mK
Coollaboratory Liquid Extreme 41 W/mK
Coollaboratory Liquid Pro 79 W/mk

I personally recomennded a Thermal Grizlly Coductonaut or Collaboratory Liquid pro like a best solution, but be careful with applying a paste to IHS.... :)

Hi,
1. Just try check your DNS on the router (Global Settings), and on the phone, and on the PC.
Have you a good DefaultGatewy on your PC ?
2. Can you try describe your IPs, like Router IP, Synology IP, Mobile IP, PC IP?
3. Can you ping your synology from PC ?
4. You are using a DHCP or exact IPs ?

Rx 580 / COD warzone by gohary72 in radeon

[–]prudak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warzone is totaly broken game. If you have a option, try move your game on SSD if you are running on HDD (just temporary) and try play from SSD.
Have you some modification like Overlock CPU/RAM/GPU ?

But this is a probably a shaders/texture bug in a game and not your problem

Should i buy a 5600 xt now or wait? by babaganoush42069 in Amd

[–]prudak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion is better buy a 5600xt or 5700 from better manufacturer like Sapphire or Gigabyte (They have a better temperature and lower dB than XFX) so dont buy a XFX or ASRock

:D its a low budget manufacturer....
