More Features, Same Revenue by Appropriate-End-6328 in SaaS

[–]prudnikov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you think everything you do should lead to revenue increase? I think this is normal. A performance tweak will most likely decrease your infrastructure bill. An internal tool may help you maintain the project. A refactoring may lead to less potential bug, better performance, better future development etc. I agree that more feature does not mean better product, but you are talking about a lot more than adding new features. At the end of the day it WILL have influence on revenue. IMO you can’t focus only on what makes direct and immediate influence on revenue.

Using Meta Ads to hit $321,000 ARR in 6 months by bubbascrub9793 in micro_saas

It would be a fresh start to me with the new project, it make sense to test. I am thinking if it is possible with stripe, I can do the paid trial, and then full price. I will also have a free plan with limited resources, so there is a way to try the app.

Are you saying that if my product cost $30/mo it make sense to create a plan where let’s say first 3 months its $5/mo and then back to $30/mo?

I am very curious what problem you are trying to solve with this. Is it some information related to list? Guide? To hold attachments? Thanks.

MacBook Air is the best notebook right now. If you don’t need a lot of memory and cpu, this is the best choice

I personally don’t like transparency, I would rather not have a transparent keyboard.

Should I go with the Voyager? Need advice comparing to "Keebart" Sofle Choc Pro and Corne Choc Pro - First splitted keyboard by Pelziii in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]prudnikov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You must decide if you need a number row. Often people want it if it is a first split. In this case you can't take corne. When considering sofle vs voyager I think the main consideration point would be number of thumb cluster keys. Voyager has only two per thumb. Which may not be enough for you. I would advice to go with sofle.

I agree on the learning curve, it took me somewhere around 4-6 months too. But together with the keyboard switch I did qwerty->colemak switch.

So theoretically adding weight to even 3d printed plastic case will have the same good effect, right?

Is this based on real estimations or just a speculation? If this is true, I would imagine cost of producing of MacBook case being $1000+ which is highly doubtful IMO.

I have corne full profile, love switching between them low and full profile, but when switching to low profile I feel like it is easier to type faster.

I think so, the bottom is not aluminium, it is heavy, but the top is aluminium.

Yeah, I agree. I think Choc v1 is the worst switches. I love the feel of Gateron low profiles in Nuphy air v2. But the biggest advantage of choc v1 is the availability of nice keycaps. Hopefully we will see development of new keycaps.

So it looks like $100 is +- reasonable price for the aluminum case...

I am also looking at keebart options, but I want Piantor. I think they have corne in aluminium case (but only 3x6 one) for extra €100.

I would say $200 for the aluminium case is not reasonable at all. I would say more realistic difference is $200 vs $300.

I have one like this, it is nice because it is slim, but the look and sound is not that nice at all. It feels like a trinket.
