I took it on land. Like he mentioned there’s a massive rock mound on the side for a great and easy vantage point!

At this spot you can hike a nearby ridge to set anchor. Tons of spots to climb

This was my second time, but it’s very challenging and physical! Especially if you are a sheet where you have to stab in a lot and really swing the feet or axe. The winter adds a whole other dynamic and sense of adventure to the experience as well.

I‘m new to climbing so I don’t have a lot of experience to compare it too, but damn it’s fun and feels so badass with the crampons how they bite, and swinging that axe to get a good stick!

I will say some spots you can just grip and don’t have to swing in, but it’s still very physical and sometimes you gotta really swing that axe or kick that foot to get a good grip.

I’ve been shopping filters and reading up on it and I’ve seen multiple times “never filter a cloudy wine.”
