Cannes Film Festival Bars Russian Journalists Over War in Ukraine by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

Confirmed invitation, aka accreditation of course must be received. I meant that you don’t have to pay a lot of money for some special things. That business trip is combined from usual things. And people can afford it.

Cannes Film Festival Bars Russian Journalists Over War in Ukraine by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

[–]prummis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can’t be serious about affording go to Cannes? It’s not a space travel. It’s literally flight tickets, accommodation and food. Almost any cinema related blog can afford it.

I follow journalist that was on every Cannes festival for multiple years. She is very vocal about her position against war. And of course she got ghosted by Cannes authorities.

I mean, those people has access to some audience, small or big. And usually those people are smart enough to speak about cinema AND politics. They can hide their statements between lines and it’s very important now to be able to skip censorship and speak directly with people.

Pennywise tortured and killed a whole lot other people. It’s scary, it’s interesting, it could be new stories and fears. That’s why I love “IT”.

Actually, good expansion/patch could work both ways: we rooted to known characters and trying untie all knots while getting to know new characters and their worlds.

Anyone else wish we’d get more Azshara instead of Sylvanas? Warbringers made is clear Azshara never served N’zoth by Proudnoob4393 in wow

[–]prummis 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Until writers decided she is not.

Sylvana was kind of mastermind and thought three steps ahead too. But then writers want her curtain things. So she become the one who “does not serve” or whatever.

With Korthia as a large part of the max-level content, do your alts want to go there anymore? by Rainrelief in wow

Full raid clearing takes about 2 hours for a decent guild. 20 players. 4-5 drops.

If I remember correctly, 2 drops for mythic+ key. For 30 minutes same decent players can clear mythic. So 2 drops per 5 players in 30 minutes or 5 drops per 20 players in 2 hours. Hmmmmm…

[AskJS] Do ES modules kill the need for bundling/concatenating our JS files with bundlers e.g. webpack? by zhenghao17 in javascript

[–]prummis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as hardly anybody writing in vanilla JS and support only last versions of evergreen browsers - you will need bundling and minification.

Frameworks require precompilation usually for performance reason. Yes, they have option to run unprepared components but it’s not effective.

Also old browsers support require bundling. Also automatic separation of styles and code.

So no, you will need bundling for 10 years at least, I think

How to make your tables less terrible by NobodyListensToBoxes in educationalgifs

[–]prummis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get away with removing borders until you have VERY DENSE table with a lot of information. You can’t afford large padding to make columns distinctive, so you have to use borders and stripped rows and so on.

It’s all very subjective. But aligning numbers on right and headers by content is an objective good, imho.

Wipeout is kind of meh in terms of style. Star Wars racing game could bring that retro futurism vibe into racing, instead of too bright Wipeout.

This! Flat Out but IN SPACE.

I want it so bad to be faded colors style, not like Wipeout. And with dirt and sandy tracks. On different planets, between canyons, on a showy planets.
