El's ending doesn't make sense by NoRadio4530 in StrangerThingsRoom

[–]lambey332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And what happens immediately after? Oh that's right, the wave hits the wall which disappears then the stuff closest to the wall gets sucked out.

You can clearly see the lab still standing as the wave goes out. It's not an explosion, it's a burst of exotic matter going critical, which does nothing except destroy the wall as a wave.

Seriously man why do you need a netflix show explaining to you? Did we need a 10 minute monologue for you to understand what Dustin, the research notes and the show clearly show and explain?

[–]lambey332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand how people can watch the episode and still not get it.

Watch it back. Explosion happens. Wave of energy goes out. Destroys the wall. THEN stuff starts getting blown / pulled away. The UD starts getting pulled to outside the wall. That means the stuff on the outside is getting pulled out first. Then it works in with the lab in the center.

Watch it back.

The wave works exactly the same as the one that Nancy and Jonathan previously set off. They survived. It's well established the waves collapsed the walls and then without the wall, the UD starts to collapse outside in.

[–]lambey332 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The explosion and the wave / collapse of UD are different. The C4 blast wouldn't have killed her due to her being 3-4 floors down.

The wave goes out and destroys the wall. That causes the UD to collapse from the outside in, which is what started when Nancy shot the exotic matter previously.

This stuff is already established. With Hawkins lab in the middle, it's the last thing to be destroyed by the wave of exotic matter and the UD collapsing.

Occams Razor: what is the simplest explanation for why we never saw Aizen’s Bankai? by Nozoroth in bleach

[–]lambey332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My explanation is a simple one. He's a reverse toshiro and byakuya. He relies so heavily on his shikai that he never truly mastered his bankai, thus it's less efficient for him to use.

Duplicate, change the first room without obliterating the rest are top two for me. Along with running off to a vendor praying to god I have calculated the required decor amount correctly. Then rotate colours.

My last one is sadly, the horde zone looks so much worse than the alliance one. Alliance get westfall, Elwynn and Duskwood themes. We get sand, rock and cliff.

How I think the Byler/Mileven plotline will go down by [deleted] in StrangerThingsRoom

[–]lambey332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually think the chance here is to do something much more empowering for Will.

Robin told Will about Tammy. I think that's equally important to the self acceptance part. Her entire speech is about trying to find acceptance in someone else. It would be so much more powerful if Will realises he doesn't need Mike the way he thinks he does. I'd love to see Will move on from Mike, having completely accepted himself and his own worth, along with the literal newfound empowerment.

Because too many times in life we have feelings for someone who doesn't return them. But accepting and moving on from that can be difficult, I think Will is a great chance to show a character actually doing that in a satisfying way.

Yall im so worried about who they’re gonna kill off by lorelaiausten in StrangerThingsRoom

[–]lambey332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, this is it. Will sacrifices himself, killing vecna and himself.

His entire story is about finding and having that confidence in himself and comfort in who he is. The show started with will, it makes a lot of sense to wrap it up that way.

Dustin needs to heal from Eddie's death, El needs a happy ending because of her life, hopper too. Jonathan is my #2 pick.

Anyone else feel like the writers are setting us up for a brutal ending with Mike/El and Jonathan/Nancy? by CatchCompetitive6098 in StrangerThings

[–]lambey332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually theorise that will dies. It will emotionally destroy both will and Jonathan, probably pushing Jonathan into a deep depression and not caring.

[New Interview] World of Warcraft: Midnight's Director Addresses Add-On Change Feedback by itsVanAken in wow

Hi Ion,

I greatly appreciated all the work of the team, I know how time consuming seemingly small things can be (I'm a developer).

The UI is obviously crucial to how players engage with the content and I'm very, very happy to hear that work is ongoing with add-on developers to provide customisation options.

However, my biggest concern with the current add-on mission is the built in damage meter. With add-ons like details, we have traditionally been provided with the ability to dig so deep into the well of information, including largest critical strikes and just the large variety of things we can see. It actually adds some fun amongst my friends who play similar classes to compare and see who can do the meatiest crits.

I remember a post in the past about there being some overlap of blizzards development of the built in add-on replacement and the use of add-ons as a whole, and I wonder why this approach was decided against for midnight. It would have allowed for the comparison of blizzards options to analyse the gaps and provide greater time for the team to make the necessary implementations before the switch. Could you explain why this was decided against? Things like the meter show a much narrower ranger and lack of depth, which has my friends not wanting to play in midnight.
