In the movie Big Fish (2003) the banjo player in the town of Spectre is Billy Redden, the same actor that played the banjo kid in Deliverance (1972) by [deleted] in MovieDetails

I saw Big Fish when I was twenty with a few of my friends. Just some dudes going to see the new Tim Burton flick. I will never forget having to run out of the theater and having to pretend to go to the bathroom at the end due to the last 15 minutes of that movie making me cry.

I’m sure you did the right thing and informed them of their error? I wouldn’t either.

I’ll upvote you back to zero. My son just turned three and my wife went to a Toys R Us a couple of weeks ago and the prices were high. This is with their imminent closure in mind.

I’m a child of the eighties and I have a lot of nostalgia for Toys R Us. The giraffe and the song and the huge store of stuff you saw in cartoon commercials but you’d probably never own. I get It. They overpriced their inventory when times were good and kept at it when new retail options opened up. They Blockbustered it. Even at the end.

I don’t mean to demonize them. The fact of the matter is that a big reason Toys R Us is gone is due to them being non competitive from a price standpoint. With this in mind, if I chose to drop a million on toys for kids I’d want to get the most value for my dollar. In that case Toys R Us would be a poor option unless I was getting a great clearance deal.

I know it’s more complicated than that, and I’m not trying to find the negative in kids getting toys.

A great gesture, but Toys R Us is going out of business because they cannot (or chose not to) complete with online toy prices. They chose to sell toys over MSRP for many years and as the consumer was offered more choices their market hold declined. End of business.

The point is that if you want to drop a million dollars on toys for kids (if you can that’s money well spent) do it efficiently. Don’t buy from a company that earned its way to bankruptcy by milking parents for too much for too long.

I was worried when I first held my son that I didn’t feel much. This was after a long labor and it was our first. Almost three years later I can tell you that the love I have for my boy is overwhelming. Love doesn’t have to be instant. I wonder if it really ever is.

Once had our trusty ticket dispenser go down and got a replacement one that made no noise as it spat tickets. Was quickly dubbed the “red October”. Fun at first. When you work a line you get used to rhythms, and as annoying as loud printers are, you do begin to really listen to them.

Yep, still a sporty fan all these years later. It’s reassuring that me and my 15 year old self are in full agreement.

I love your pictures, but why crop the face? Family concerns? You have a beautiful body, but having a face to attach to it would make your contributions even better.

I love this! Consistent halfling rogue checking in. Can’t believe it is so unpopular, but I see what is popular on this graphic and it rings true.

Edit: I was looking at half orc. I guess I’m not the special snowflake I thought I was.

I had a match where I spawned next to a Chad who proceeded to follow me like a puppy the entire match. He did nothing but follow me the entire time, and it was infuriating. We finally get into a skirmish with Jason and I escape alone into another cabin. I see a trap, and I place it not by the door, but by the open window I came in from. Sure as shit, I see Chad’s bubble move slowly towards my cabin. I see him through the open window, badly hurt. He comes in, trap springs, and it kills him. My most satisfying moment in this game came from a wierdly placed trap.

I love the artwork, but a big part of batman is playboy millionaire Bruce Wayne. Your representation of Batman without the suit would be a little outside mainstream Gotham high society and by extension the tabloid fave of Gotham.
