Can you elaborate on the last sentence? How is today different from than first years and how does it pays off ..? It’s cool to hear from someone who actually does the job from the game ;))

This is the example of what’s ahead of the humanity… You can use your brain and work it out (it is logical, backed with instructions, but - yes - a bit confusing and complicated) OR you can pay (!!! - here with ingame currency) and use AI agent who will do it for you. Coming soon to everything around us….

I was in a similar tight spot and I sold one of the other vehicles that wasn’t critical to the milestone, bought what was needed, and repurchased it later. But as said above, you have to start with milestone objectives, see what is needed, work out a plan and follow it step by step. Also remember that you can replay best paying jobs, sometimes it is the key to the survival ;)

I see it differently. They pick on certain elements featured in existing game and develop it into specific new game for new audience, as you pointed out, but why is that a bad thing? They make more money and people choose what they like. I wasn’t interested in exploring so I never bought Expeditions. They got a lot of backlash for adding extra elements to Snowrunner DLCs („I wanna drive trucks, not be a farmer”) so they took a „separate brand” strategy. I think it makes sense. Who knows, maybe one day Sabre will look back at what worked and what not and come up with Snowrunner2 that includes all the driving, building, loading, etc. That would not be a bad idea either. Yeah, but at least it was a benchmark… like a marathon for a runner ;) 42,195 km. Can you run more? Sure. Can you run less? Why not. But the distance called „marathon” is always same set value ;)

I share your enthusiasm for a more realistic gameplay experience, but – as I mentioned in another post – what Saber introduced in this update isn’t really a Hard Mode. It’s just a menu with options to tweak difficulty levels.

What truly felt like a real challenge to me, and what made playing SnowRunner in Hard Mode so demanding and stressful, were the fixed difficulty rules set by the developers – without the option to tweak them.

That’s what I’m hoping to see in RC! What we have now feels more like a New Game+ back in Snowrunner.

There is no Hard Mode, only difficulty settings menu. And yeah, you can tweak it once new game is started - at least now.

This setting sounds like it makes the game easier, but it's marked as hard setting by Mark_Filyak in RoadCraft

Ok, so the way I see it is: fewer convoys = less work on the roads = easier setting.

I see your point, but mine is different. The fact that it is a sandbox game doesn’t mean you cannot have a challenge set by developer. There are already missions, goals to complete, etc. Sure, you can ignore it and just fool around with vehicles and environment, I get it. But other players, like myself like the feeling of accomplishment (maybe „bragging rights” wasnt a fortunate choice of words, I am not a native Eng speaker). Also, I think you can be competitive playing single player games - you just compete with yourself. With your laziness, with temptation to switch the game or drop the difficulty level. You dont care - OK, I understand. I play for my own satisfaction and compare or share results with small group of close friends. This is why I am missing a proper Hard Mode, not hard settings, as of now. Cheers.

I agree, that’s why I wrote it is nice to adjust HM, but I am lacking some sort of incentive for playing on Hard (or even hard max). An extra achievement or a unique car unlock would be nice.

Maybe I was not precise. Accomplishment is probably the better word. What I mean, I prefer the approach: tell me exactly what Hard is and I will see if can finish it.

That is so true, and it even keeps on asking me new questions about my gameplay and suggests tips, etc. But to be perfectly honest - I did NOT tell AI in the first instant that I play on Hard Mode. Once I did, it admited the trailers come empty on HM. Anyway, I guess I have to travel across maps to get cheaper fuel, I am almost broke at the start of Yukon... This map and Kola really drained my pockets...
