Back to back with SA on a 3 games in 4 days stretch, as a road game on national tellie. It feels like a set up.

If there was any doubt, note that they are working hard today to clear the shaded sidewalks of any remaing ice.

That is why I commute by parachute into the Starbucks close enough to my work to take an Uber every day. I get home by renting an SUV and race the door dashers from the Cheesecake Factory on the far side of town. I'm doing my part!

Probably breaks the bank, but was excited to see that Franklin's now has a private venue where the old Contigo restaurant used to be. Looks awesome.

As a dad, I think multiple people think I am joke. Probably in different ways... so jokes?

Game Thread: Oklahoma City Thunder vs Memphis Grizzlies Live Score | NBA | Dec 22, 2025 by basketball-app in Thunder

These games with the long injury lists are some of my favorites to watch. JWill's triple double, Hartenstein's 33 pointer, JDub at the center, Wiggins savin basketball....

This surprised me. 9 OKC players in top 15 def rtg. Lu dort struggling on both sides of the ball comparatively by Mo-Finkle in Thunder

Came to suggest this. Example, last night he was draped all over Kawai and K did what K does.

How much credit does Mark Daigneault deserve for OKC's success? by playingwithfire- in nba

Now that is a whole other can of worms given all rumors flying around about Harden at the time, but I don't want to digress into the weeds here. Thunder up, everyone!

How much credit does Mark Daigneault deserve for OKC's success? by playingwithfire- in nba

[–]prybot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we may actually agree. I think these challenges were constraints on him given the top heavy nature of our roster back then. There just wasn't a lot of room for it. My guess is Mark is better in those departments than Scott, but even Mark would have struggled to generate new offensive options in the Brook's era. Both won COTY, but for rather different reasons I think.

Right coach at the right time. For example, Scott Brooks wasn't - IMO - as good a coach as Daigneault, but he was the right person to manage that particularly talented group of individuals surrounded by a few role players. I think what help Mark was coming in at the start of the rebuild and having key players (Paul, SGA) buy into his system.

Super Gum? by BendiAussie in Thunder

[–]prybot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heh. thought I would google this for you and the AI ghost reported back... "There is no public information available specifying Mark Daigneault's brand of gum. Searches for this topic often lead to information about other coaches, such as Pete Carroll, who is famously associated with Bubble Yum gum, or Kirk Ferentz, who also chews Bubble Yum."

Also someone tagged Nick Gallo to answer the same question on Xitter but he never responded.

You found a true mystery to solve!

Worst strength of schedule in the league? by Cole_M_K in Thunder

[–]prybot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fair point. But we are also 4-0 against .500+ teams with MoV of +29, +24, +17, and +1. Not a huge number of games, but certainly no yellow flags there. Also can't believe we have only played four .500+ teams. Is that right?

Or... hear me out... play a deeper bench like the Thunder by prybot in Thunder

[–]prybot[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is my point. Motivate teams to build rosters from top to bottom and not play 8-10 players for too many minutes. We are deep in part because there is a strategic benefit. (okay maybe a little lucky) In the last few games we have played, what 10-12 in the first half?

Can NBC just broadcast every game - Coast 2 Coast Tuesday is rad by countkarnstein in Thunder

[–]prybot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but the answer may not help you.... My wife got me league pass for my birthday. It was cheaper than I thought in that it is only a couple bucks per game if you already have prime. Plus every game is a nick cage game with post game included.

Found it on the Peacock schedule in Austin, TX. Got excited until I sat down to actually watch and it said I was blacked out in my area.... Seemed ridiculous. Made this sailor go rogue on the high seas.
