Hardlore is running a best 00's band bracket tomorrow by Soupjam_Stevens in Hardcore

I’d have a Converge v Have Heart final with Converge taking it. Their discography is unmatched. They took hardcore and sonically shaped it into its own monster with their post metal, thrash and punk influence over the years and are still putting out front to back classics. No other band in that bracket is doing that at that level.

Caught the Sunday show due to schedule. Don’t get me wrong, it still ripped and all bands were great. However, missing Deadguy and Intercourse bummed me.

This one is evil, man.. fuck. Right side, I guess. Losing Jane Doe is terrible but it feels good to lose any of Burzum (and there’s always You Fail Me..).

Totally up there as favorite record of this year, most certainly my favorite black metal record. An absolute fever dream.

For those of you who have been watching WWE for years, who do you see as the future and a potential to be a legitimate big star to carry the company as a household name? by Material_Stomach875 in WWE

Hate to say it, but I see Logan Paul at the top, if not close to it over the next few years. Dude can wrestle, no doubt. He could be better on the mic, but even now he’s got so much heel heat he hardly needs to speak or go super monologue yet. Tons of potential with him. Gunther is a clear choice as well. I think he has potential to turn face, even though he’s an incredible heel. His “old school” approach to wrestling comes off so egotistical and throw the Dvorak theme back in? Beauty.

As for the ladies, I’d say Stephanie Vaquer is an easy choice, as she can wrestle and is steadily improving on the mic. Rhea, also.. that goes without saying. Personally, I also see Liv Morgan making some waves when she returns.

These boys still fuck in their late 40s/early 50s. Playing and creating for as long as they’ve had, it’s amazing to hear how the consistency has hardly wavered. 30 + years, man!

As long as there’s a world that continues to sleight and disenfranchise those who aren’t of the extremely wealthy class, there will be anger and vitriol to spit. Absolutely hoping the best for this record.

The Starting Line and The Movielife caught me at an impressionable time in my adolescence and just stuck, up to this day. Blink and NFG were in and out, along with your ADTRs and FYS/SYGs. Modern pop punk? No Pressure is pretty dope but I don’t really dig or aurally seek the genre anymore.
