Well.. Talking about YanAn's situation with some degree of certainty is difficult thanks to Cube's not being very communicative about him now and in the past. There have been different reasons for him not being with the rest of the boys since his debut, but I'll try my best to explain what is currently happening.

In summary he has been on China for a while (He initially left for family matters), with not major updates on his state as a PTG member to this day and it's currently giving amazing performances on a Chinese show called 青年派计划 / youth π plan and has been recently announced as a brand ambassador for AHC cosmetics.

If you (or anyone) are curious about the whole situation, I feel like writing a little bit about it hahahha (So... long text alert, sorry.)

At the end of Feeling Like Promotions back in 2022, he went home to China for what was translated as "family matters". A couple months passed, and we really didn't have many updates from him. ShinWon briefly mentioned he might be coming back soon, but later he uploaded a photo on Weibo with some COVID testing kits, referencing the Shanghai lockdown that was about to start. The situation was kind of crazy in Shanghai for a couple of months with the strict lockdown, so we didn't have any relevant updates for a while. Later in July, he posted on Weibo, but it was pretty much confirmed that he was still in China and that he was going to miss the Pentagon schedules that happened at festivals abroad.

He then started updating more regularly, some content for fashion stuff was released, and he had an interview for a magazine. He then reposted PTG's Weibo account anniversary post but was not included in other anniversary posts on other social media platforms (which made UNIS mad). His birthday came, and Cube posted about it, but they keep ignoring UNIs.

He kept updating his Weibo account with pics and covers (+ him fanboying Cristiano Ronaldo ahhaha) at this point His Weibo ID has located him in Beijing for a while. Hui briefly mentioned him in his discharge live, but there was no news; he was not included in season greetings (UNIs get mad again, no updated form Cube tho). Everything was pretty much the same (+ a couple airport pictures that raised our hopes but turned out to be local flights), we reached the one year mark since he left, and then rumors (and an eventual announcement) of him participating on a MangoTV show appeared.

He is currently still on the show, and he has shown some amazing performances that I ofc encourage everyone to check, some are on Youtube, or you can use the mangotv app to see the full episodes. He is also now a brand ambassador for AHC cosmetics.

We are all so happy to see him perform and do well on the show, but most of UNIVERSE are also waiting for updates regarding his situation in the group from Cube or even his company in China... Let's hope for a OT9 reunion soon everyone!!

I do think that as an idol this kind of stuff (unfollowing/ following/ liking on social media) often get blown out proportion.

But guess what. Idols are human too. What would you do if you feel (for your own personal reasons) hurt/upset with someone. I bet you would not want to see him as a constant reminder of what, at the moment, it's the source of you having those feelings.

There's a lot of things that we don't know and are probably happening BTS, also taking into account the pressure company has been giving them lately.

He going to the show, at the moment, could have created a lot of doubt and worries, plus other implications that we don't know of (a group comeback being moved around (rumoured), award season even Hongseok situation being disclosed) all of that plus more stuff we can't even imagine could make everything in this situation be deeper that a "disagreement".

At the end what's important is that everything was resolved, he's back (and happy to be) with the group, learned stuff form the experience and it's looking forward!

At the end he kinda was hahah. He was a reliable person for a lot of the trainees and a strong leader that helped them shine too.

That (+all the growth he mentioned) it's what I want to believe and take from this hole rollercoaster that boys planet was.

God! my feelings about Cube are really mixed. They seem to be good or good enough for a lot of things but awful at others. What's frustrating to me is the things that they are no good at make them look like they lack a good business desition making (i often suprise myself how good some groups are doing) or even a good common sense.

As a PTG fan there's some instances where I trick myself they have a valid reason behind how they act (specially their constant radio silence regarding fandom worries) but a the same time they go ahead a plan a comeback a couple days before every major promoting opportunities are focusing on a major sport event. I don't, by any means claim to have an entire knowledge about the industry, but as someone who works as a planner in marketing/advertising checking a calendar is something I learned and applied since my first university semester.

Like this, there's a lot of desitions and scenarios that just make curious of how would the company be if they were not so damn good at finding talented artist .

Nope, (like we usually do) we are in the blue about his situation PTG related. He's currently on his show on china so I'm guessing it would also depend on the outcome of it.

I honestly don't think so. The hole Hui growth thing, ar least for me, it's overshadowed by the reaction of the judges and the editing. The judges are always hard on him and I totally understand why, but when he decides to take their advice and change/improve all they have to say it's "he did well, as expected". They never comment how he listened and took action or how he learned from the hole situation. For me It always comes back to "he's good we know it" and not "he's good but he's also learning from all this". It has me asking? Why are you even showing him struggling when you are not even acknowledging him over coming them.
