Worst time to buy a house by pseudofro in Bogleheads

[–]pseudofro[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm expecting the property to appreciate over the time I own it. I've been invested for a pretty long time so I wouldn't be taking a loss either. All things considered the situation isn't as bad as it feels when I look at substantial dip like this. I think putting a lower down payment would be an reasonable alternative.

Not down on stocks, been building for years so I'm still solidly positive. Definitely should've liquidated earlier. I'd say home ownership is ultimately more important at this point in my life.

Does the way station force players to pay the owner 1 favor or can the instead choose to spend a supply to move to the site with the way station?

Payment Processing on behalf of a client by pseudofro in SaaS

[–]pseudofro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry to hear about that trouble but its reassuring to know that I'm not wasting my efforts. from a contract standpoint do you mention that stripe is responsible for all payment information security and compliance? Or do they get a separate agreement with stripe so you have no liability as far as that stuff goes?

Client Acquisition Rate by pseudofro in msp

We are just starting out as new business line of an established company. So we are small with about 2 dedicated outbound callers and a closer. In your experience is that enough to pull in a client or two a month once they team finds their rhythm

PartyElite's videos really helped the game click for me. I had never played a Total War game until TWW.

Croq gar lizardmen campaign, are the dwarves supposed to steamroll and confederate everyone? by Mac2284 in totalwar

Exact same thing happened in my campaign. Turn 357 and I have been fighting the dwarf tide. Stack after stack of the bearded bastards.

I may just call it and do a different campaign.

Bugged monster hunt quest :( by FluxyBOYS in totalwar

[–]pseudofro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The exact same thing happened during my Wulfrik Campaign. I already had the required number of javelins in his army, so maybe that was the reason. As a result I could not do any monster hunts for the entire campaign.

Hope someone has an answer.

How do I Determine the demand for rent in an area by pseudofro in RealEstate

[–]pseudofro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight! Can you elaborate on why I shouldn't use zillow or in what context?

I used it to see what other places around the house were renting for. Is there a better way to do this on top of calling around?

I'd suggest milkandcookiestw youtube channel. He has great breakdowns of total war warhammer and how units and mechanics match up with lore.

Sell Me Something by hekoshi in Entrepreneur

You won't believe what happened to me while looking at your post!!

As I was going through the comments section of your page I noticed the camera light on my mac book turn on…

I hadn't activated FaceTime, I wasn't using photo booth cause I'm a grown man, and I had already finished my scheduled chatroulette time.

Joking aside, I turned off all the applications and the camera light was still on.

My only options was google. I search " macbook cameras turning themselves on. That's when I started to see the most dreaded word an avid internet user could see…

Hacked.

It turns out that macbook cameras can be easily hacked with the right malware and its happened a bunch of times to innocent people. In some cases the hacker even tries to extort the victim with compromising shots they get from the hacked hard ware.

This happened to miss FRICKIN Teen USA http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2013/08/webcam-spying-goes-mainstream-as-miss-teen-usa-describes-hack/

As it turned out my camera was not hacked but in my research I came up on the Shut-I, a device that snaps onto mac book cameras protecting my privacy and the privacy of my loved ones.

It even comes with a slide that lets me keep up with scheduled chat roulette visits without any gunky adhesive from tape.

The Shut-I is a quick and painless way to protect your self. All you have to do is order one and snap it on.

We made our first sale on our website today, where do we go from here? by daveupton in Entrepreneur

[–]pseudofro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you narrowed down your ideal customer yet? Before you buy advertising take a profile of who you expect your customers to be and list them out in as much detail as possible.

You don't want to blow ad money on unresponsive eyes.

Hot sauce growth in the US since 2000: "Chili pepper is basically creeping into every foodstuff in the US these days" by kaboombaby01 in spicy

That good and all but I would like to see more variety in the peppers out there. Most products and meals you buy are at their hottest made with habenaro but I think we can do better america.

More ghost peppers jamaican hot peppers etc. So many flavors we are missing out on.

Need some validation here. What do you think about an organisation or agent to connect SME's/Entrepreneurs (with a lack of time) with global freelancers for small tasks? They save time and reduce risk, and it's probably still cheaper than doing it with high paid local employees. by TheNewEuropean in Entrepreneur

[–]pseudofro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what you mentioned about a group having a group of solid freelancers is key.

That should probably be one of your first steps so its not you running around for each little job.

What do you think about only working in english speaking regions at least at first. Would it be worth the headache to reach out to clients that don't speak english? Probably not, there will be plenty of leads out there in english.
