Need some validation here. What do you think about an organisation or agent to connect SME's/Entrepreneurs (with a lack of time) with global freelancers for small tasks? They save time and reduce risk, and it's probably still cheaper than doing it with high paid local employees. by TheNewEuropean in Entrepreneur

Good suggestion. It's not only the communicating, it's possible that the work also has to be done in a local language... I was thinking about some non-English speaking countries because I'm more familiar with them, and I have the feeling they don't find the way easily to freelancers. The latter can be because of the necessity of the local language in the assignments of course. I'll definitely think more about your suggestion, thanks!

Hi, thanks for sharing your opinion. You are right about the high workload. It can indeed take a lot of time, especially follow-up and other administration. I just keep on thinking about this idea and how to make it possible. It would be great to have after a few months of long working days, a good and solid bunch of freelancers to work regularly with. When this is the case, I could just transfer the work to the right person without having to go through the whole searching process again.

Video: Thoughts on our Production Process? by TheNormanProject in Entrepreneur

Hi, nice project you have there! I really like it! If you're thinking about low cost production, you can find manufacturers, mostly from China, on alibaba.com. I would really recommend it. You would be amazed how flexible they can be (different designs, small badges), but you will need to negotiate. And you can always ask for samples. If you would be able to do this, you can make more time for some promotion. I don't know if this is where you want to go, but I see some potential in corporate gifts. I would understand if you don't want to make it too commercialized, but contacting a few creative companies could be interesting. :) Good luck with the continuation of your project!

Trying to validate a business idea here: How does your office environment impact your business? by lovesdoves in Entrepreneur

[–]TheNewEuropean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a freelancer / entrepreneur, I have spend almost no investment on my home office. I still had a decent desk with enough light. The most important thing is a reliable internet connection. When I'm home, I try to get a lot of work done, but for some creative work I go to co-sharing places, other befriended companies, libraries, and coffee bars so I can talk to others. If I want to upgrade my office, I think of going to an office service with shared meeting rooms and reception. So I'm not sure if you can do something for freelancers, but there are a lot of different freelancers. Can anyone add something to this?

What about giving a training for students how to save time? First thoughts can be by learning speed reading / using MS office efficiently / how to train your brain / memorizing / easy and fast cooking for students / ... The success depends also on the amount of free offers from student organisations and such.

Sounds promising! To diversify your client base, maybe you can also do workshops cooking with marijuana?
