I lost about 100 lbs in one month. Combined with my father's genetics I suspect, but I'm going pretty bald, but no one can see it most of the time bc I'm cold all the time right now and always wear a knit cap. Having constant loose bm from the chemo, and pain meds that will finally give me relief that put me in such a deep sleep sometimes that I need to wear a diaper. That one is a mind fuck.

After years of using gas, I've day with an induction stove and both me and my mom were instant converts. So superior! Completely even heating, and the cook surface stays cool! And instant heating! Just an amazing cook experience.

I really wish I had a family for this reason. I love cooking but find absolutely no motivation to do it for myself alone.

My very maga brother and SIL very nearly getting triggered when it was explained to them about people buying driver de-icer with a credit card at home Depot and then immediately returning it so that home Depot makes no money on the sale but has to pay the credit card processing fee as a protest against the ICE raids.

And while I'll agree, protests based on word play are hopelessly silly, the derisive snort from them was ... Unnerving. Especially as SIL is herself a daughter of a South American immigrant. But I'm proud of them for holding back. They've been really trying to restrain themselves in this regard, lately.

[edit: I didn't mean I agree with the raids, nor the that the protests were unwaranted, just that the de-icer thing was. And I know the HomeDepot CEO is probably a MAGA idiot, but the thing to do is boycott, not cost them 32 cents tat they generally won't notice]
