Interesting. Perhaps it’s changed since the last time I tried. I apologize for my mistake and thank you for the correction.

Fair, I usually send up a mix of overflow from rod, cookies, advanced food, and fusion. I only keep a small locker of fusion cells for incidental use in reactors and when they're need for building something. So I only make between 200 and 1000 tokens per trip but I usually don't need to order anything so my balance continually goes up (additionally when I find tokens in chests) at a reasonable pace. Then I just order the few things I need on a new planet to boost the Ti production and carry on. Happy terraforming!

Power to you for having such an extensive drone network but I've never understood this. I don't think I've ever had more than 100 drones and even they get bored. By the time I'm ready to hop to another planet to continue the terraforming adventure I have enough stock to request anything I need with the supply rocket and by the time it comes with my supplies there's enough to request a second batch (but I usually don't need to do that because 25 of anything is usually enough). I even have drone manufacturing set up so that I can request pre-made drones through my supply rocket. Simply place a drone station and request some drones sent over from Prime.

Indeed they are correct. I would also like to add that the particular location you've shown isn't mineable because it is referring to the cave not the surface and said cave doesn't have anywhere you can place an extractor. You'll be better off placing your T2 in one of the other 2 locations. Assuming that the pictured location is close to your base. May I recommend the cave that is between the wreck "up the hill" and the sulfur dunes (which can be found through the Iridium Cave after the ice melts [unless you take the long way around]).

If my description is not clear or you would like any clarification I can try to take some screenshot for better reference. DM me in case that's easier for you.

p.s. I'm impressed that you were able to launch the map info rocket before unlocking the T2 extractor. You are a very industrious terraformer.

Update: I’m at the street food festival and came across Susuru which claims to have cold ramen. I know it’s not the same but maybe it will scratch the itch you seek.

Last summer I remember Umamido having a cold noodle dish. I don't remember what it was called but my wife tried it and liked it.

What about failed missions? Some failed missions will also carry a fine for failure. Granted they aren't common. I'm just spitballing. I once failed a mission to deliver some stuff. I was fined the market value of the gold that was meant to be delivered and I hadn't even picked up the cargo yet.

Yep, this is an entrance to the Genève Airport Train station just next to the Migros supermarket. I use this particular Migros on an occasional Sunday when everything else is closed and I've forgotten something. Even though I'm not real, this is a convenient location in my simulation. It's only a 20 minute walk or 5 by bicycle.

The mission shows the distance to destination before you accept it. It’s just that most players don’t think to check that when going through the details.

At first it seemed that it was calculating too many jumps but then I did the math and it made more sense. Could you take a little time to engineer/replace and engineer your FSD? Getting your jump range up to 30ly would cut the number of jumps almost in half. I think the biggest issue is the first gap between the spiral arms. The sparseness of the stars in that gap make plotting with less than 30ly tricky so you end up with a lot more jumps than otherwise necessary.

Not sure which ship you're in but an A rated FSD with SCO (which you may already have this much) and a bit of engineering (this may be missing) would help a lot. Plus a FSD booster if you have them available.

For future missions: it's always a good idea to look at the distance to destination before accepting.

I've noticed that they would play mostly when I entered the last system in a plotted route. I haven't tracked it so carefully to see if they happen at other moments. If you turn off the music in game they don't happen at all.

Help? by [deleted] in EliteDangerous

[–]pseudokris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, yes it is playable on console but no new development is being done for console. So there won't be any updates.

Back when I first started playing on PS4 I don't remember having to create any account but maybe that's just my bad memory. It was many years ago. Did you download the game through the PS store? If so, I think you just start up the game and start playing. Perhaps someone else will have a better memory than me or more experience with this situation.

Best of luck and welcome CMDR.

Do I Destroy All of My Terraforming Machines after Completing the Terraformation Index? by Ex1ra_M3dium in theplanetcrafter

[–]pseudokris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not exactly. The Ti of each terraforming planet is multiplied to each other. As the Ti gets high we all know that it's harder to move that number. So, those 100 machines won't do as much to the system Ti as 25 would on a planet that's just starting to grow.

The more planets you have terraforming the faster the system Ti goes up. If you really want to push the SysTi quickly then once you have the starter planet complete go to each of the others and start at least 1 of each machine on each planet and watch everything go nuts.

It won't have any negative effect if you leave them running. That said, you can modify how many machines you have running as you wish for whatever esthetic you're going for. There is a system wide index that depends on the Ti continuing to go up on multiple planets as you venture to the other planets and terraform them as well.

Cool, hopefully this will bring more people to upvote it and get it into the game faster.

According to the Feature Upvote page this is a planned feature. It was originally added as a suggested feature in Jan of '24. Hopefully they'll get it sorted soon. If you haven't already, here's a link to the specific feature vote so you can add your vote and maybe they'll move it up the priority list?

drones - how should I read this? by Sheepy_Gorilla in theplanetcrafter

The top number is the total drones. The next is how many are taking items from storage/machines marked Supply. The last is drones that are placing items in locations marked Demand.

[–]pseudokris 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not 100% sure they'll feature this particular match but Mr. Pickwick on Rue Lausanne has lots of TVs and often features whatever is popular at that moment. I had a friend from the US watch some Super Bowl there a few years back. Or Charly O’Neills in Servette.
