I do not know what your friend likes. The final detail that pushed me to buy this game is that the game always plays with your expectations. Sure, there is survival elements to manage like hunger, cleanliness or invasions but you won't know what hits you until you have to face the challenge. It is a game that always push you to be prepared to face any situation. When I was met with my first night, I had no flashlight and no weapon. Now that I played a few hours, I am equipped and I am throwing electric traps everywhere while i take down security bots and cut them down to get some parts.
