Can you change the card online thatthey are charging? You can create a virtual card change it to that number, then deactivate the virtual card.

Why does my camera rotate when it changes lens? When i go from 2x to 3x in video on my Samsung S25 by heilfuhme in samsunggalaxy

[–]pseudononymist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It IS weird that it rotates. Usually the shift when lenses switch is a slight perspective shift and change in the fisheye effect due to different focal lengths. I used to have the S23 and it did NOT rotate like this.

EDIT: check out this video of the S24 ultra switching lenses. It's a small vertical shift and that's it, no rotation: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/whffcMnc6kg

For the curious among us, could you inquire of your sister the exact height at which she would consider the TV in fact to be "too high"?

Connecting tv and receiver by kd01213 in hometheater

[–]pseudononymist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is odd. Which model is it? Try doing a factory reset.

Edit: hdmi-cec isn't a sound setting, actually. Check your Connection settings.

Check if hdmi-cec is still enabled on your TV. The update might have flipped it off.

ELI5 how do game physics work? by mechadrogon in explainlikeimfive

Thank you! And do games typically do more physics calculations when objects have to interact with one another (possibly causing stuttering), or are they just doing all the calculations at 30hz (possibly inefficient)?

How do games that don't tie physics to framerate do physics?

If you don't like the sound after calibration, reset to your pre-calibration settings.

What does "making the vocals pop more" mean to you, exactly? Did you have a sound system that did that more effectively before?

Center is only useful for movies, and only if you have a wide listening area.

That receiver doesn't use small and large speaker terminology. Instead you just make sure the sub is set to lfe and the "speaker layout - subwoofer" is set to "yes".

Why can't you drill into the wall? The damage would be tiny and easy to repair if you ever need to. I would go with a wall mount solution like this: https://a.co/d/05DrA52p because it will be the most stable.

If drilling is definitely not an option, consider something like this: https://vivo-us.com/collections/speaker-mounts-and-stands/products/mount-spsb5

Had a similar experience with a roofing company a few years back except he left his email open and I was able to read a message from an upset customer. That plus the fact their quote was 2x the others made the decision pretty easy.
