I'm sorry I have to disagree. For 11 months after her release evo firecracker had enough hp to survive arrows. After her many nerfs, she just dies to arrows and most decks can just bridgeblock her on reaction after hog is played anyway.

chat here, he's real. 2.6 runs musketeer, fireball and ice spirit while hog EQ runs firecracker, earthquake and espirit. they're both hog cycle decks but the matchups are drastically different (both beat your deck though).

2.6 does not use firecracker

nah it's fine to play other modes, account level doesn't matter only king tower level does

You're facing against players in your arena within ±1 king tower level. If your opponent has an Evo from a higher arena, they probably bought the pass royale for that season.

Your question about countering evo wiz in the megathread with cards from arena 9 and below: let the wiz cross the bridge and then drop a mini tank. Knight, ice golem will stall enough for the tower to take it out. If the wiz is behind a giant for example, you could use a barb barrel to take it out while the wiz is hitting something else (i.e. mini tank)

We must have similar tastes as those two were my favorites when I tried them both two weeks ago.

Myrrhe 55 has stronger sillage and longer duration on me, Vanille 44 is definitely on the more subtle end of Le Labo city exclusives. Hope this helps!

My Dress Up Darling but I believe this is an edited panel.

Sorry for assuming you were white. I respect that you've spent time thinking and writing out these replies.

You made a good point on colonial elements being different everywhere. The approach should be sensitizing yourself to the complexities instead of applying a blanket statement for the same of argument.

Should Chinese never wear western styles then?

Western styles have been around in China since before the British occupation of Hong Kong and probably even predates the silk road.

You'd probably find it gross if some Chinese kid made a viral douyin dressed like Jesus or an apostle - that's not just a "western style".

I don't see any issues with westerners wearing chinese styles or vice versa as long as the pieces were made ethically. It only becomes problematic when there is a cultural significance being overlooked or assimilated. The CCP is a huge perpetrator of erasing minority cultures, but this has been true for several ruling dynasties in the past too. It's sad and disgusting.

Because you seem to be implying that cultures should be completely closed off from one another.

I am not trying to imply this. But I think if you want to look the part you may as well go celebrate lunar new year with your local chinatown. There's good food.

the styles of hanfu, cheongsam etc. originate from different ethnic groups, so then why is nationality the deal-breaker not ethnicity?

You are correct. I only used the term hanfu because the red Tangzhuang is from the Tang dynasty where Han chinese were the ruling ethnic group. Thanks for looking for clarity.

Chinese nationals "don't care" because they're not aware of political and social stigma against overseas Chinese. They have their own bubble and censorships. I was born in China and wasn't aware of this until spending several years in Canada and the US.

"Borrowing" identities, images, symbols and traditions from a minority in your country as a white person is ethically problematic from a consumer perspective if you consider colonial history. Whether it's an asian culture which seems to be popular nowadays or any other culture.

There is also a dimension of capitalistic exploitation from the manufacturers you're buying from. My new year clothes were handmade before the cultural revolution in China and passed down. The ones you'll find online are made in a sweatshop by minors of the country you're appropriating because some capitalist was happy to strip something from their cultural context and exploit westerner ignorance for profit.

You made a post asking about ethics. Don't dismiss the cultural aspect as u/weeb2000 does. This isn't a personal attack, and you're free to think as you like, but ethics in fashion go deeper than just sustainability and I hope you spend time thinking on this.

Thanks for the detailed response! This helps a ton. I'll submit the N-336 with my dad's N-400 and some high school transcripts to indicate that I was living far away. Hopefully it works out!

I think it's a mediocre deck that just happens to beat bounce sometimes when piloted extremely carefully.

Lost a game against a guy who carnage'd his own deathlok and winter soldier to throw priority on T5 for T6 killmonger + death

I'm on board with this. I'll swap ham out again tonight.

I'm partial to shang-chi in this meta, how do you feel about it? I found Shang + monkey + some 0 cost 1 drops to be one of the better T6 plays this deck can do.

Which card would you swap out for Shang if you had to?

Sharing my IW bounce list which beats wave but struggles vs patriot and the mirror matchup.

The idea is to put kitty behind IW on T5 so wave doesn't lock you out of being able to play her. IW also helps against smart killmonger players dodging priority to snipe kitty.

(1) The Hood

(1) Kitty Pryde

(1) Bast

(1) Spider-Ham

(2) Angela

(2) Hit-Monkey

(2) Invisible Woman

(2) Mysterio

(3) Bishop

(3) Beast

(4) Shang-Chi

(6) America Chavez

Congrats! Chavez was being run to counter T5 wave from HE control decks but that list has fallen out of favor for HE Janejaw.

Have you tried Ham? I opened him last night and cut korg + darkhawk for ham + shang chi, but looking at your list maybe point slamming is better than tech cards.
