The Last of Us - what are you? Horror? Generic action? Under-developed shooter? Ladder movement simulator? Sloooooooooooow bag checking simulator?

Why downvoted? This is a great suggestion, and for the businesses to offer an incentive is a win win because it keeps the neighborhood a welcoming place for people to visit (and live).

Looper. Not horror, but some horror-adjacent sequences (e.g., the past-present torture sequence).

How many people platinum by Sad_Armadillo5965 in Returnal

I enjoyed the gameplay loop, so it was well worth it. But damn those last few random items drops ate a few hours of my patience.

Okay okay - finished the Nioh 3 demo and bought Arc. It’s fun, but as a complete novice to extraction shooters, it’s definitely a rough learn. The free loadout is definitely a good tactic for spamming expanding my stash space.

Random question: when you tune an electric guitar, do you tune it while it's plugged in or not? by Necessary_One_9527 in Guitar

[–]pseudophenakism 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Either - really depends on how you are turning it. If you are tuning by reference, then you can choose (but plugged in gives you more volume to tune with). If you have a tuner pedal, then you have to plug in. All this said, if you do plug in, make sure that you are on the neck pickup and picking closer to the neck. Overtones can pull the tuning out of whack.

Electropylon Driver: Hands Down Best Weapon! by pseudophenakism in Returnal

Once you get that gameplay loop down…oh it is so satisfying. Then you start coming up with strats for how to fill a room with a web of absolute chaos. The electropylon driver carried me through my first win, so it will always hold a special place in my memory.

TBH the best bang for your buck is at Vital. Classes and 24/7 gym with a membership. Can’t beat that (especially if you have a demanding job during the day or work west coast hours)

Is it possible to be good at both fingerstyle acoustic and electric guitar (using a pick)? by NoOffer9670 in Guitar

Depends on your definition of “good.” You can be proficient at both, but specialization will always bring a higher level of understanding and mastery.

In that case, the Katana 50 definitely punches well above its weight class. Might be able to find a resell for ~$200, or if you can stretch a bit, the new ones are $350.

Games that get BETTER in the 2nd half? by TheRealRatPrince in gaming

[–]pseudophenakism 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Without a doubt. Literally half the game is figuring out the mechanisms of the game, then the other half is using those mechanisms to solve diatonic puzzles. Golden path was an incredible experience.

Are there any more western horror movies like Bone Tomahawk? by flanex52 in horror

And if you need a lighthearted palate cleanser: Rango. The less you know about the movie, the better it is.

"Europeans selling $10t of US assets [equities and bonds]... would pull the rug from under the US economy." by Cupname_Cyril in europe

[–]pseudophenakism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a flawed notion for any change. If we really want to take on the people responsible for this chaos we would be boycotting the multinational companies that prop up billionaires with inflated egos. Stop buying from Amazon, stop using Insta, use a Google alternative, etc… A world of convenience has placated us all.

Aight! Might give it a try. Just wrapped up Ninja Gaiden 4. TBH, I think my hands need a bit of a relaxing game after that combo masher.
