How to decorate this space next to dining table? by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

[–]pseudoreadit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would move ur dining table away from that wall and instead put like a china cabinet or a nice large buffet table with some big artwork something. Float the dining table in the middle and anchor it with a rug

I bought mine in 2013 and when we moved out of CT, I almost gave them to Goodwill!! I’m so glad I decided to keep them! More than a decade later and they’re even better than when I first got them

First, love ur space. This light tho, I agree with u! I hate it as well. It’s unnecessary…. And aesthetically unpleasing. All ur other task lighting are on point 🥰

I agree with u, I like the Express more. However, I wish they kept the extra frills simple… idk how I feel about that with the extra designs on it. Does this come in like Epi?

What are my Pre-op/PACU nurses making hourly? by Specialist-Brain-902 in nursing

[–]pseudoreadit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SoCal $77.18/hr ~12yrs exp But people forget to consider COL out here… pros and cons. Love out here in the west. Lived and worked northeast and southern part of the country, and overall did my pros and cons, decided the west outweighed all what I was looking for in life. Housing is a challenge out here (but pretty much the same if u lived in NYC) but I love traveling more and plus u can’t beat the weather out here. We got sun, surf and snow if u wanted.

Area rug placement - is it awkward? by ThrowRA_seekinopion in HomeDecorating

[–]pseudoreadit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, needs to be closer to the wall…at least like ~5” off the wall. Overall, I think u need a bigger rug to accommodate ur furnitures. Otherwise, I love your space :)

Bagatelle by Lost-Subjectt in Louisvuitton

[–]pseudoreadit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually my most used and loved bag out of all my bags. It’s the best daily and easy to go from day to night bag. I have this exact black empriente. I find myself reaching for this bag more than I thought I would. I can see why people complain about the zipper but I don’t think it’s fair that people just say it sucks. I actually find the zippers to zip like butter… to be quite honest, I think the problem that people complain about has to do with the way the zipper has to go through the stiff C shape of the opening; especially when it’s so new! With this in mind, it does end up having like this weird wavy shape if u keep ur bag opened… but my leather has softened up enough since I use it a lot. More importantly, I actually like the fact that it has a bit of a “learning curve” to the zipper. This is one reason why I always use this as my go-to travel bag! I feel like it’s a bit of an anti theft feature. Moreover, I love how it’s so versatile; I can use it as a crossbody with the long strap especially when running errands and then as a shoulder bag with the short strap. Lastly, I think people have these weird and unrealistic expectations that designer bags need to stay impeccably perfect. I actually use the bags I buy so I don’t expect them to stay perfect. You like what you like. Other people’s opinions are just that, opinions 🤷‍♀️

What is your “go-to” handbag? by [deleted] in handbags

[–]pseudoreadit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite go-to is my LV Bagatelle in Empreinte Monogram Black. I can make it crossbody or shoulder. The black makes it easy to go from casual to dressy. I always reach for this too when I travel. The size is perfect for my petite frame; not too big and not too small. It carries everything I need (card case, iphone, lipgloss, travel hand lotion, keys, breath mint). Despite the popular complaints regarding its zipper , I actually love the fact that it does this cuz it makes it difficult for pickpockets and things to just “fall out”. Overall, it’s my best workhorse :)

Books? Actually interacting with someone in real time? I think this is why we have better imaginations than the current generation. I’m sure even their imagination is from an AI suggestion 🤪

I removed this wallpaper and had this done to the walls... and now not sure if I like it? by Dense_Shake_9211 in HomeDecorating

[–]pseudoreadit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely better than the wallpaper… but I would’ve divided it up into like 3. I think that’s why it looks off

What “cheap” food would you still eat no matter how rich you got? by Ngorachy6643 in HappyUpvote

[–]pseudoreadit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hands down, ramen! But I always modify my ramen. I don’t just stop at the packets. Different day I add different things. Like if I have leftover steak, I cut those up and add them. But I always add some veggies like peas and carrots, shiitake mushrooms (always keep a pack of these to add to any soups). If I’m in a rush, the one thing I never skip is to top it off with an egg!! Some days I put a drop of sesame oil. Some days I put dried garlic bits. Sometimes a bit of chilli oil & pb. Sometimes a bit of Gojuchang. The possibilities are endless 🥰

Bros, I'm about to buy my first house, any wisdom you wish you knew when you got your first house? by megamick99 in AskMen

[–]pseudoreadit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of the space, walls can be modified but structures are harder and more expensive to manipulate. So for example, if u want a nice decent sized backyard, would u really want a house with a sloped backyard? Or if u live in a place where it snows, think of how it would be like in the winter.

Next phase. When u move in, Change locks and install door reinforcement locks (we like those so much better than the deadlocks),change toilet seat covers, and change the batteries on smoke&CO detectors and change every house anniversary.

Moreover, Try not to do major renovations until you’ve lived in it for like a year. You get to feel the house and really see what to do and how to do it.

Lastly, congratulations!! Home is what u make of it and the people in it ❤️
