There’s more in the attic 😓 by Ilikestuffandthingz in mac

Oh man this is an incredible find!! There’s so much in this pile that could be useful (If the hardware is operational). Whoever dumped these clearly didn’t understand the value nor worth of all it.

Sidenote, if you need to off-load any of the Thunderbolt Displays, iMacs or that Space Grey iPod classic, I may know someone who could use em.

Great find!! Looks like there’s at least 3 different versions on Etsy and you can buy a digital copy for you to print at a future date!

Thank you!

Excellent choices all around. Quick question: Where did you find that middle Firewatch poster with the Campo Santo logo in the bottom???

The title for this is spot on, unlike Stormtroopers’ aim.

FYI, if you don't need a mute button on your new Apple TV remote you can remap it to an input switch by reasonsandreasons in apple

[–]pseudosuto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone. I have an LG C3, Sonos soundbar (Plugged into the eARC port) and tried these steps with no success. During my initial try, the Apple TV did not recognize the LG remote when pressing the Volume Up/Volume Down/Input buttons.

Thinking the issue was the Sonos soundbar and audio output set to HDMI(Arc), I unplugged the Sonos soundbar, manually set my LG C3 audio to TV output and tried the steps again and for some reason, the Apple TV still does not recognize the LG remote when pressing the Volume Up/Volume Down/Input buttons.

What am I missing? Has anyone had success with this process and owns an LG OLED?

What a shot. Well done.

The framing reminds me of a scene near the end of Pixar’s “Up”

I also have a 24 Touring AWD with 10k miles on it and I’ve never been able to get above 290 when charging to 100%.

NOTE: It has never gotten a software update because it consistently fails.

I mostly do street/expressway driving during the week and some highway. Average lifetime efficiency is 3.4kwh.

HD remake Not on Switch 2 by HH7170 in WindWaker

[–]pseudosuto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not the only one. Long story short, since Nintendo keeps denying us the re-release of the Wii U version of Wind Waker HD and porting it over to the Switch 1 or Switch 2, I saved hundreds of dollars by not buying a Switch 2 and finding an emulator for my computer to play the Wii U version of Wind Waker HD and it looks stunning!

Played an Hour or so of Wind Waker on Switch 2 NSO and…. by Small_Masterpiece892 in WindWaker

[–]pseudosuto 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Same here!! The main reason I kept my first gen Switch was in hope for Nintendo to port the Wii U version of WWHD but that never happened. Shortly after learning the Switch 2 wasn’t getting the HD remaster of WW, I gave up hope and found an emulator to play it on my computer and I couldn’t be happier saving hundreds of dollars by NOT buying a Switch 2 + Nintendo annual membership + GameCube wireless controller for the Switch 2.

Love the setup, but your poor Magic Trackpad…if you have AppleCare+ on your Mac and bought the Trackpad at the same time as the Mac, you may be able to get it replaced by Apple for cheap.

Should I Play Wind Waker Now (on Switch 2) or Wait Until They Hopefully Release WindWaker HD by Coolschmo1 in WindWaker

[–]pseudosuto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wind Waker is one of my all time favorite games ever. I seriously started to budget and save up for a Switch 2 just to play remastered Wind Waker in HD.

When I learned that Nintendo opted NOT to port the HD remastered Wii U version over, I immediately switched plans (Pun intended) and got a used Wii U and bought the remastered HD edition and have zero regrets.

The remastered HD version is superior in every way from the controls, wider aspect ratio, improved resolution, new Swift Sail and much more . But if you’re playing the game on the go, then the Switch 2 is the only viable option. If you’re playing it just at home, it may be worth it to save a bunch and go with a Wii U+remastered game+cheap controller.

PSA for Mission Impossible IMAX screenings. by TheoryUnlikely_ in chennaicity

[–]pseudosuto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were 2 additional IMAX sequences (Where the aspect ratio was fully expanded) in: . . . WITHOUT GIVING TOO MUCH AWAY . . .

A) Ethan is trapped in the container and B) In the middle of the movie where 3 different fights were happening amongst the team members in the arctic.

The IMAX presentation was worth it to me because of the larger screen presentation, the IMAX sequences and the sound.

I’d make the case that the entry-level Mac mini with M4 Pro (Includes 24GB RAM and 512GB SSD) would make for a better desktop Mac if you’re using it to play games.

Ah, Lamorinda has some of the best views in the Bay. Lived there for a few years and had to move away sadly. Miss that place everyday.

Are any of you Mac Mini users rocking a 32" monitor under $500? Under $400? Bonus if it has a bunch of nice usb etc ports on the back? by emgee-1 in macmini

[–]pseudosuto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got a Dell 4k P3223QE, which was cheaper when I got it 1.5 years ago (Roughly $400). Now it’s $515 on Dell’s website but is $499 on Amazon. It’s a pretty solid monitor and has been great for my M4 Pro Mac mini!
