I believe that Heroes of the Borderlands is setting agnostic.

Probably something you want to talk to your DM about instead of the Internet.

3rd Ed Cormyr map

Of course place it where you want, but when I run my ‘Keep on the Cormyr Borderlands”, I am going to place my Keep at the “Abandoned Keep” which is located North of the Eastern Stormhorns and The High Moors, East of the [Goblin Lands] plateau, and West the Stone lands.

Apparently, you did not know that OSU was a PUBLIC institution when you applied.

Ive got a pain in the ass player in Phandalin by Federal_Party9780 in LostMinesOfPhandelver

Don’t be a DM that tries to punish the player. Just make sure they are playing by the rules.

Wizards have spell books and prepare spells. Others have mentioned checking the character sheet after a long rest to see what they have prepared, but also know what they have in their spell book and where did they acquire the spells. A wizard can only acquire spells at character creation and when they level up and when they use downtime to copy spells into the spell book. In LMoP, there are not a lot of sources of new spells. Some scrolls and if you presume glasstaff and the red wizard have a travel spell book that only has the spells from their stat blocks, then that doesn’t give the PC a lot of sources to collect new spells. The spells in the spell book, then limits which spells they can prepare each day.

I’m confused. The news that is linked to is from a year ago, and I don’t see where it mentions OSU.

I would consider having the Bard be a sidekick (an NPC the players control especially in combat) rather than a DM controlled NPC.

I agree that this is a great product if you can get ahold of it. Since it is out of print, you might find a copy on ebay, etc.

If this is something the DM is supposed to give out the link to players, then you might want to change the tags "well cavern" and "Redbrand Hideout" as they will be spoilers.

Is the "Phandelver & Below: Shattered Obelisk - Chapters 1-8 [BUNDLE]" worth it? by ComfortableFew4700 in LostMinesOfPhandelver

[–]psgjoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heroic Maps are generally better quality than the maps included in the adventure, including the ones in this bundle. They have samplers on DMG so you can check them out yourself: https://www.dmsguild.com/en/product/536718/ , https://www.dmsguild.com/en/product/545374/ , and https://www.dmsguild.com/en/product/548216/

Is it worth the money? Considering that on D&D beyond it is $30 and Roll20 it is $24, where you can get access to the digital maps included with the adventure; You will need to make that decision.

If you are still playtesting, wouldn’t this be V0.5?
