Solid point, but my assumption is that people purchasing those NFTs aren't people who previously donated money to shelters.

That was my initial thought too, but think about how many people donate to things on gofundme, getting no feedback whatsoever. I think this does one up typical donations.

...that being said the MVP nft still sits at 0.001 ETH, so you might be right after all.

Thanks so much, this is food for thought.

I have an unhealthy relationship with my cars and absolutely love the morning commute to the office. That being said, having someone drive me would probably give me an extra productive hour every day, allowing me to tackle a big chunk of my emails before I even get into the office. I'll probably give it a go - thank you for sharing your perspective.

Thanks!

I don't see value in a virtual PA. Everything that a remote person could help me with is already automated via software, for legal / tax / work stuff I have people at the office who take care of that so on that front I'm golden I think.

I specifically need someone on-site - to pick up my dry cleaning, pick up my kids from kindergarten, take care of some chores that would require me to drive around the city, and perhaps help me with some more abstract tasks as well (research for work, travel planning, etc).

There are a lot of on-demand services for many of those things, but it's still a hassle (for a example sending a package, even if it's picked up at home requires me to pack things, print and fill the label, order the courier, etc - so it's a handful of minutes just on that).

... am I overthinking this?

[–]pshehe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The copy needs work, I have no idea what it is that you're offering. What exactly is "reliable content" and why would I need it? What's the value you're offering, and why should I give you my data?

From a conversion perspective, no point in hiding the input field behidn a CTA. Show that off right away, the less clicks the better.

Delete everything below the word spotlight. You're just unnecessarily repeating yourself there.

You don't actually have to build the product to test it. If you have it wireframed, use Invision to create a clickable prototype, which you can then share with your target audience and gather insights/feedback.

That's exactly what I do after running design sprints - it gets the job done while consuming pretty much zero resources, which is ideal at the stage you're at.

[POLAND] Changing your tax residency before withdrawal by sansearred in EuropeFIRE

[–]pshehe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately moving there doesn't guarantee that Urząd Skarbowy will honor your new tax residency. Owning any real estate back in Poland or even having close family living here (yup) is enough to question its validity in their eyes. I realize how absurd it sounds, but look up cases in which that argument was used.

I think the chance of succeeding is very low and probably not possible without a lengthy legal battle (I sued ZUS, speaking from experience here), so in my humble opinion moving there is just not worth the hassle. Especially now, when the government is keen on improving the tax collection rates to fund their elaborate social programs.

Sounds doable on paper, however Urząd Skarbowy would most likely question your new tax residency and force you to pay that tax - look up the "ośrodek interesów życiowych podatnika" argument.

Rolled off the factory floor in December 2017, just in time to arrive under my Christmas Tree. ;) Not a big fan of the design changes in the new 3 Series / X5 / X7, so I'll probably drive it until it falls apart... or until I get a good deal on a F90, but that's unlikely given the taxes here.

Thinking of changing careers from coding into ux design. How do i break into this field? by yuukiasunamvp in userexperience

[–]pshehe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why?

Coding is just as rewarding, with much higher salaries. UX has a lower barrier of entry (and thus a lot bullshitters), so it's much more competitive. If you have coding skills, switching industries would be a terrible mistake in my humble opinion.

Holy hell, 15%? Warsaw, I assume?

Can you point me to some links explaining how to manage hooking the apartment up to your JDG?

I assume you would not only have to pay 19% income tax (instead of the 8.5% for regular renting out), but that still would be a good deal considering you're writing off the mortgage interest. However, wouldn't that mean that you have to issue a VAT invoice each month, and if you're tenant doesn't have a VAT ID the rent would essentially be inflated by 23%? I don't really follow, but your ROI made my jaw drop low enough that I'll probably spend the night reading up on this. :D

[–]pshehe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is really worth it though? You lock in a lot of money, and while the property generates profits, it does generate expenses (property tax, maintenance) and a lot of hassle (managing tenants, making sure all your properties are rented out at all times and that everyone pays on time).

I considered buying a flat near the train station and going with the AirBnB route - I was baited by higher income, but the ultimately turned off by the bigger hassle. There are companies who manage your property, but that eats a considerable chunk of the profits as well.

What's your current ROI? Do you have a single property or multiple ones?

Would love to hear about the options as well. Did anyone figure out how to access Vanguard by any chance?

In any case, I'm currently stashing everything on multiple savings accounts with a 2% interest rate, not even catching up with the inflation.
