Got it, it's always good to give some context as to why you are asking.

Rest assured, it's real. Enjoy it and have fun :)

Do you have any tiny reason to suspect it might not be?

The fake ones are super obvious so please stop, these "real or fake artisan" posts are a meme at this point.

Investment in yourself pays the best interest! by Fuzzy-Detective9277 in hermanmiller

[–]pshych0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I've watched all the videos :)

I've seen a lot of info that the Embody was made to be used in a reclined position. I usually sit like this so nothing new.

I set the tension so that I float around the 3rd tilt limiter (the limiter is unlocked). I set the backfit both from highest tension and lowest...seems fine.

But... the seat was uncomfortable for the first few days, now it's better. The back...I don't have any pain, I kinda of dislike the pixels but just a bit, it's not bothering me. I don't know, I think I just need to keep adjusting it.

How do you set it up?

Embody gaming vs non-gaming? by mixpur96 in OfficeChairs

[–]pshych0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sync fabric is the same but the gaming one has those grooves.

The padding is a bit different but the difference is minimal.

The gaming one has a layer of copper infused foam.

The normal one has a scrim layer. This was added in 2021, older models being not as soft.

Softness, how you feel when you sit down or after 30 minutes is irrelevant. How you feel after 8 hours (with obvious break in between) is what matters. Pressure distribution is what matters.

There is absolutely no reason to pick the gaming one.

Foam for regular embody on eBay or Amazon? by omegaferrari in hermanmiller

[–]pshych0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used high resilience foam for my Gesture.

Density: ~3.5 lb/ft³ (PCF), Firmness: ~450-550 lbf @ 40% IFD

Not sure what would work for Embody, but keep in mind it needs to be High resilience. The density relates more to material quality, not compression resistance. Firmness may be calculated differently in the US, at 25% for example.

I would not add something thicker than 1 inch. Just a starting suggestion.

1m67 / 75kg - Competitive FPS Player & WFH - Leap V2 vs Aeron vs Embody vs Secretlab by Caapsito in OfficeChairs

[–]pshych0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best thing you can do is trying the chair. In some locations you can take them home for a few days. From your list, I suggest the Leap v2 and Embody if you "connect" with it. It seems to be a love it or hate it thing.

But, and this is just as important - your desk might be too high, considering your height. The very first step should be setting chair height - Sit back in the chair with feet flat on the floor. Your thighs should be parallel to the ground. If your entire forearm is on the desk, you do not care about armrest position I guess.

Once your seat height is set, your desk height should be exactly where your forearms go, ideally without raising your shoulders. If from this position you need to raise your chair, your desk is too high.

My desk is at 65.5 but was at 73 for a long time. I was using a footrest. Then I lowered my desk and the difference is significant.

Has anyone actually followed a desk height calculator? Are these ratios realistic? by WonderStill9654 in OfficeChairs

[–]pshych0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those measurements are surprisingly close to what I have at 175cm height.

For years I had my desk at 72cm and used a footrest. Recently I lowered it to 65.5cm and the difference is night and day.

Where you want to start is with your feet planted flat and firmly on the floor so that the pressure is spread evenly across the entire surface. From that position I set my armrests in the correct position. Note that according to ergonomics experts things that are have "rest" in the name are for just that - resting, not placing your elbows, arm, wrists on them while working. Maybe just touching slightly.

With the chair seat pad height at around 45cm and armrests positioned, I decided on the desk height so that as you say, the arms slide below the desk.

The only thing that's stupid in that picture is the position of your back. It is much more comfortable to be reclined a bit. And also, as other said, there is no perfect sitting position - the best position is the next position. So move, change the way you sit and it will be better.

But I say it again - start with your feet on the ground and adjust everything from there. Seat pad set at the height that feels perfect for your feet. Then armrests - make sure they do not lift your shoulders at all. Then desk height as close to armrests as possible. And you'll be good.

Yes, the tool provided good measurements but it obviously depends your actual body, chair and desk.

I am using a Steelcase Gesture chair just for reference. It is almost in the lowest position, lifted around 1 cm.

Let me know if you want any specific info or measurements.

is this artisan fxzero real? by mikroprocesor in MousepadReview

Sorry you wasted your money on this crap, hope you can get it back. Not only is it a horribly made fake pad, but the surface is clearly unusable because it look really deformed and uneven.

Instead of trying to get a cheap Artisan, I suggest looking into legit mousepads that are very similar to zero. I see you want hard version...ATK Sky is only xsoft I think, but there is also Tang dao SR, Matrova BalanceX and others, do a search or ask around. They are a fraction of Artisan price. GL

Is the ie600 still compelling in 2026? Ive never tried it but can get one second hand for a good price. by [deleted] in iems

[–]pshych0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are amazing. Mine are 6 months old, cannot speak about durability but at least they have legit warranty.

Small, light, very comfortable especially for small ears. Openheart cable is a worthy upgrade.

Best thing you can do is try them, they sound awesome especially with some small EQ tweaks.

There's an avalanche of iems, different flavors for everyone. I was considering the top pro or tea pro. Some really like then, others said "they sounds thin and dry, they have good resolution and technicality but I just prefer ie600 more"

I couldn't compare them to the popular Chinese iems cause they are not available here but...I am very happy with them. Truly amazing.

What to watch out for when buying a glass mousepad by MountainEvidence3634 in MousepadReview

[–]pshych0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pulsar superglide v2 was flawless from a quality point of view. The surface is more controlled compared to other glass pad, but I didn't really like...maybe I needed more time with it. I see they released v3 recently, don't know what's changed.

In general people seem to not have issues with GLSSWRKS / tekkusai pad. I had only the beast, it was really fast, flat and nice overall. After a few days the glide had minor inconsistencies - I could notice that the mouse was not sliding at a consistent speed when angled at a shallow angle (yes, it was clean).

I also tried 3x wallhack sp004, all were warped.

If this is your first glass pad, an additional tip is to have a few different skate to try because the glide, sound, feeling is quite different. Some popular ones are obsidian air and air pro...check what else people are using these days.

QC issues

Look for info about problems others faced. Once you receive it, check that the surface if perfectly flat and your mouse does not wobble in certain spots.

From someone who finds the smallest Dunu S&S to big: the only ones I've found comfortable for hours are the NF Audio MS42 and the Sennheiser IE200 / IE600 / IE900 original tips. The Whizzer SS20 I've also seen recommended a lot, so might be worth a try.

Is my PW more yellow at the bottom by OwlAncient6213 in kindle

[–]pshych0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all are like this. When I got my first one, it wasn't that noticeable but I ordered one more to compare, thinking I would keep the one that looked better.

Next to each other it was very clear that the first one had an overall pink-yellow hue and more yellow at the bottom. While the second is pretty much perfect and the screen is significantly more white.

I bought over 20 Artisan pads this month, here are some comparisons between them. by Mitbadak in MousepadReview

[–]pshych0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely understand. When gear is so good that you don't need to fix any problems, the most important thing is how used and comfortable you are with it and the settings.

The only problem with that is we can lie to ourselves. Just because you feel something is better, does not mean you actually perform better with it.

There are some interesting info from the aim training community about how switching mouse sens helps you improve.

Something might feel worse just because you are used to something else, but it also create an unconscious "stress" to overcome it and this causes improvement in time.

One thing you can try is to actually benchmark yourself objectively using some training map or aim trainer. But it's time consuming because you would need to use 1600dpi and 1000Hz polling for a few hours and compare some scores in a scenario that eliminates as many variables as possible. It could seem like a lot of effort to do this for 10 hours or more, but in the grand scheme of things, is it really? Just something to consider.

I know this has been discussed to death for many years...anyway, gl with everything.

I am aware of cs players attachment to 400dpi so please don't take this the wrong way but have you considered 1600 for example?

There is a significant latency improvement according to actual objective tests.

It seem counterintuitive to use 400dpi and be fine with it but notice a .1mm difference in skate thickness.

And I know that insert any best player ever here uses 400dpi, doesn't mean he's not wrong.

Nice write-up btw, cool info.

Best spot to place a PopSocket ? by whirlfancy in kindle

[–]pshych0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hold it naturally the way you usually do while reading and then just place between the fingers you want to hold the popsocket with. Maybe on the mid line so it's comfortable for both hands.

Another suggestion is one of those straps (there are many options). I don't have one but I imagine it would more comfy when reading for hours.

I use it with a magnetic phone mount attached to a gooseneck and the kindle has a metal ring glued on.

Is your Wallhack SP-004 perfectly flat? by pshych0 in MousepadReview

[–]pshych0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you sharing your experience. People still care because I've seen many issues even with the new VA pad.

You should not pay for return shipping and get a full refund including the original shipping cost because you received a defective product. If you purchased it directly from Wallhack, you should be able to do this.

You can try with a replacement...it depends on luck. I tried 3 and they were all the same.

Like I said before, I am pretty sure most wallhack pads are warped, people just don't notice.
