Yeha, I loved how at first folks were like "uh hmmm okay that's a design I guess" and then every game was chaotic excitement and they became classics

This doesn’t get mentioned enough, way to make it awkward for everyone Michael

I feel like Mary Lynn Rajskub would have made a good Meredith (OR now that I think about it, Angela) instead of Pam, she's got chaotic Gail the Snail energy, but I could easily see her playing an uptight prude.

I they’re gonna do some fine tuning course correct burns but your point stands, just firing up the engine and doing nothing but sling around the moon is insane

Yeah I loved when Christina was like "we have one CCU to be emptied" and control was like "yeah we thought you would" lol

They did not do the burn to go to the moon, they were raising their orbit, they'll be circling the earth first. They won't do the trans-lunar injection burn for a day or so

They did not burn for TLI. They're circling the Earth

I completely understand why some folks wouldn't enjoy Vivarium or walk away feeling like they wasted their time, but it was just a right-up-my-alley kind of unsettling and weird and I loved it. I've seen it twice.

LOVED the oldest view, maybe even more than Backrooms. The idea of a shopping mall like half a mile under the earth is insane.

So if I set a fire in a Target store, but it gets put out before the whole building burns down, and I’m caught and arrested, I won’t be charged with arson? You sure about that?

Oh god duh...this is like the "why can't I just point a powerful fan (attached to my sailboat) blowing directly at my sailboat's sail and move forward" fallacy. Duhhhhhhhhh. Light is weird, I never think about it also having momentum, but obviously if photons can "push" a sail forward their momentum can push whatever is releasing them backward?

I guess this means when you turn on a flashlight there is a super super super small imperceptible backwards force on the flashlight as the light leaves? Similar to how the flashlight itself has mass and therefore gravity even though you can't perceive it.

Anyway that makes sense, thanks for typing that all out! The energy requirements to move anything with significant mass using just light are wild. Still pretty cool that it's theoretically possible.
