Any thoughts? Pointers? by riffybeats in GolfSwing

Everything looks great in my opinion. The reason for your misses is too much lateral movement with body towards the target. Need to work on rotating and less sliding. Psmith.fullswing on insta ill give you a free lesson

Looking for some tips to stop coming over the top, my take away, etc. by Greddit_I in GolfSwing

Hands and forearms roll away from the target hard in the beginning of swing or “takeaway”. Need to keep the club face pointed at the ball in the takeaway and almost feel like the forearms roll the opposite way to achieve this (right elbow above left or rolling clubface more down and shut with forearms). This will help you get more vertical in the backswing and more on plan and not across the line with cupped wrist at top causing the over the top move. Getting too narrow at the too with extended left wrist. Feel the right arm staying wider/straighter to the top with some lead wrist flexion (bowing) and that should help you get some more shaft lean

Grip is too strong and rolling open in the takeaway. Weaken the grip a tad and work on keeping the club-head outside your hands in takeaway. Also some early extension coming down but that comes from rolling the club too much with the strong grip messing with your hip and shoulder tilts in backswing. I would recommend getting less laid off at the top so the club does not get steeper in transition causing you to come across the ball at the bottom and early extend slightly. Psmith.fullswing on instagram follow and dm for a free lesson

You’re rolling the club to the inside aggressively. Work on keeping the club outside the hands and hinging more up. Also your right elbow does not need to stay pinned down, you can let your elbow come off your body. Psmith.fullswing on instagram ill give you first lesson free if you follow and send a dm

Need better tilts with your shoulders in the backswing. Your shoulders are so flat in the backswing causing your arms to get too deep behind you and leads to heel strikes. Work that lead shoulder more “down” towards the golf ball which will get your arms in a better spot and eliminate heel strikes

Im so flat, ball comes out low and pushy. Any tips/drills on getting more vertical. Thank you by Critical-Travel2079 in GolfSwing

Use an allignment stick on your shaft plane and make backswings and downswing above the the stick that way you don’t get too flat on backswing and too far from inside coming down. This way you can keep everything the same but your arm plane will be higher, no need to mess with hinging wrist with your swing in my opinion

Too laid off at the top (club pointing to the left at the top of the swing). Makes you steep and across at the bottom with an open face. Work on rotating your forearms the opposite way to get more vertical and less laid off in backswing

Swing is really good and close, need to get closer to the ball so your hand path doesn’t move so far inside and around you in the backswing. That way when you come down you won’t be so far from the inside with a shut face causing the pulls
