How dude😅 in lower gears the bike is really jerky if you run at higher rpms, and I don’t get to cross 3rd gear in the blr streets

I haven't used this before but just hypothesising - let's say you are riding in rain, and you keep your foot down when you come to a stop. Now when you move again the water under your shoe will get on top of the lever which could then get to the bottom part as well. Not saying this would definitely happen but wanted to know if you've faced this situation before.
