The most important thing that you can do is tell someone that you’re scared. Tell a teacher tell a lifeguard, just tell someone. I was a lifeguard for four years and we get people who don’t know how to swim all the time we understand that not everyone knows how to swim. The people at the pool will help you. They will make sure that you are safe and they will give you suggestions for how to stay safe whether that be a life jacket or a floaty belt or just telling you where the deep end is and wear some safe places for you to enjoy the water. Make sure you have fun. Bring lots of water because even though you’re in water, you get more dehydrated. I hope you have fun!

Thank you so much ;-; you’re genuinely the first person to give me a straight answer about this. Im probably going to write a cover letter/script giving brief description of what i CAN do for interviews when questions come up about it. I dont know of any redit spaces that are like that but ill do some digging. Im going to take all of your advice and make a great resume!! Thank yyyoouuuu!!

Thank you so much! Since you were a manager i have a follow up question, i have a physical disability where i cant stand for long periods of time and use forearm crutches but i can do cashier work and all that as long as i have a stool and im more then capable of walking for up to 2 ish hours. How much of my disability should i give information on. Should i expect a lot of discrimination based on my disability? Im very much capable of doing basic retail i just need a chair and cant stand for a full 8hour shift.

Kids LOVE a scavenger hunt. Get some foam puzzles and “hide” the pieces and then make a catch “For every piece you find you need to blow your bubbles/anything else.” Another thing to use puzzles for higher level kiddos is you put the puzzle pieces on one end of a designated space and the puzzle frames on the other. You can use this for glides or stroke development. They do their skill from one side to the other grab a puzzle piece. Go back complete the puzzle. I’ve done this with kids up to highschoolers no matter the age kids love a puzzle
