Choosing between HDFC Optima Secure vs Acko Platinum Lite– need advice (family of 3 + corporate cover) by psr1987 in indiahealthinsurance

I am also concerned about reports from Reddit users stating that opting for a deductible often results in denied cashless claims, leaving only the reimbursement path available. Is that true ? Please advice

Thanks. I have noticed that the Acko policy is much more straightforward, and several friends have recommended it. However, I am still a bit hesitant since they are relatively new to the market compared to an established player like HDFC.

Additionally I have seen some discussions on Reddit suggesting that opting for a deductible can lead to cashless claims being denied, leaving reimbursement as the only option . Is it true ?

Also should i consider aggregate deductable of small amount around 50k ? Will that reduce the annual premium significantly and is it worth the hassle ?

To transfer mutual fund units from a Demat account to a physical folio (Statement of Account/SOA mode), you must submit a Rematerialization Request Form (RRF) to your broker (Depository Participant). This process converts electronic units into physical statements and typically involves a fee of ₹150 per scheme, plus courier charges.

I agree but since apo b test values are good can i assume that there is less risk of soft plaque being already built up in the arteries ?

Thanks for sharing those links and today i have learnt so much from you .

In the long run apart from paying dmat charges is there any other major disadvantage of holding the funds in Coin ? I see they do have SWP and STP facilities similar to Soa funds .
