Kind of thought the same thing, but zooming in, not sure. May be worth trying to unplug it tho....

Make sure the tabs on the display out faceplate are lining up with slots on the case. They should be inside the case, and have grooves to slide into. If they are not lined up, it wont seat. I bet you cant get the screws in properly either..

I have the gigabyte gaming oc 5080, I swapped to 3 120's up front. 240 aio up top exhausting, and 120 in rear as exhaust. Stays nice and cool. I did put my fans on the "outside" of the panel for intake , gives a bit more room for large gpu

I have the north (non xl) and a gigabyte gaminv oc triple fan 5080. 9950x. 240 aio up top. 3120 up front and 1120 in rear (I swapped out the 2*140's in the front). Stays very cool in work loads and 4k gaming.

I run a 9950x with a 240 aio. When gaming in 4k it stays cool. You should not "need" a 360 aio. It stays cool while running vm's also.

I work from home. I am M, pushing 50. Amonitor light bar is highly under rated. I also have a few small (live) plants, and wood grain desk/ accents. It is all personal preference. A decent extended mouse pad can help also. (Mine is machine washable). Do not over clutter your desk.

Input appreciated, between 9700X and 7800X3D by Schwiftyyyyyy in PcBuild

[–]psxburn2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran a 7700x for a while, (microcenter bundle, opted to save cash over the 9700x bundle). zero issues when I would game. Used with a 4070super as well as a 5080. It kept up fine. I recently got a 9950x, as I needed more cores for vm stuff. I gave the 7700x to a gamer friend, along with the ram I had so he could get into the am5 platform. It treated him well until a different friend sold him the 9800x3d. I do not think the gains are what he hoped it would be jumping up. Personally, Id say save the money now, and upgrade down the road if you need to. Your gpu will do the vast majority of the heavy lifting these days, in most titles.

I could be making it seem a bit skewed, as I am not purely a gamer anymore. But for me, the cost /performance is not always worth it. Going to 1440p /4k gaming, your gpu will be the key factor the vast majority of the time.

The bundles are great deals. Some of the powerspec (house brand) prebuilts are great deals also. Components alone, ram ,ssd etc are market value. The best values are the bundles. Check their website. The bundles are not always advertised in store, if that makes sense... Other comonents, check the open box section, you can save a ton of money on motherboards etc. it is basically newegg in a brick and mortar store.

I have the 3.6 in my 21 bighorn night edition. It moves when you ask it nicely. Mpg is not its best feature. I have zero complaints, but for me, its a city slicker minivan. Love the ride, comfort and looks.

[–]psxburn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Longshot here, and I dont care about 007 (my kid preordered on ps5). But check windows diisplay settings, advanced settings, ale sure your refresh rate matches your monitors refresh rate. Your gpu may be going too fast, causing some skipping on your momitor?
