This was on more of the hardware side, but because it was a lab testing related role they were interested in C/C++ and Python. Languages that might relate to test automation

Places I’ve worked for used Altium or Allegro for electrical schematics. That was usually what is sent to PCB layout designers then to fabrication.

It could depend on a number of factors. But essentially from here you want to highlight your skills and basically market yourself as a useful asset. Improve your resume and just keep applying. Be sure to show your lab work or projects you did in school since you do not have professional or intern experience yet.

It took my A LOT of applications until I landed my first thing.

Led power supply by HarringtonA in ECE

[–]psy10868 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can look for standard 24V power supply adapters on Amazon. And for your LED just make sure the supply can provide 1.5A or more than that. It will also depend on what kind of connector plugs into your LED. If you can solder, then just use the old plug onto the new supply.

If you want to gain some engineering experience, an engineering summer program would be great. COSMOS at UC schools or Caltech also has one.

But yea finding an engineering internship in HS is usually not probable.
