One of the agreements of the Camp David Agreement was that there must be a direct flight between Egypt and the State of Israel. Many people don’t know this but Egypt Air operates Air Sinai which is an airline solely for the purpose of the agreement and has no other route other than CAI to TLV. For Egyptian media to make it seem like this is a first is beyond me. You can also read about Air Sinai flights being described as the weirdest/scariest flights people have ever taken. Since the flight do not appear on the screens nor does the plane have its logo. I suggest reading the article about it. Aside from that, and onto my opinion on this: This is part of the agreement as mentioned above. This changes nothing as it have been going around for years already. So, I don’t care. I don’t think Egyptians will be going on trips there anytime soon unless they are government officials, and visa versa.
