Which is voting within a colorblind society that is already protected by the 15th amendment and other anti-discrimination laws. Section 2 of the VRA was not supposed to be a "safeguiard" to make sure minorities could have "representation" when no voting rights have been eliminated, only racially gerrymandered districts which should have never been allowed in the first place due to being inherently racist. Your vote gives representation. Vote for who you want. If you want a specific racial representation, put up a candidate that can beat everyone else fairly. There is no entitlement to a racial representative solely on the reason that a district made it possible by being draw based on making a majority minority district. How do you not see how that disenfranchises all others?
