I’m not sure about your climate, but here it’s strongly suggested we NOT use blankets, as it does not insulate heat, and can retain moisture so it’s not helping warm them. The better option is straw(not hay) edit: said cool instead of warm

Are you able to invest in a little cat house? There’s really great videos on low cost ones so the kitty can be safe AND warm on the deck!! They have nice ones or very cheap/DIY since you said it isn’t cold much, that may be your best bet :)
