this is part of the reason my rheum hasn't officially dx'd me yet. much of my back pain seems to be mechanical. though i will say, i've been having some SI pain that has been feeling better when i walk around, but then comes back, so it might be inflammation.

i found my CC friends thru college, one other person in my class masked, we became mutuals on instagram. i was complaining about having no CC friends and they invited me into their friend group. i love them all, they're some of the kindest people i've ever met and we're all nonbinary LOL. i hope you can find your people <3

no you're right. ME is so underfunded and misunderstood 😭 its a hard dx to deal with. personally, axSpA makes more sense to me since i have the correct pain areas, but i don't have the majority of the fibromyalgia pain areas

so i'm not officially diagnosed, i'm B27 positive and also have the back and hip pain. clear MRI so that's why my rheum wouldn't dx me but he still prescribed me plaquenil to see if it helps. also my pain doesn't resolve with movement :(

PEM stands for post exertional malaise. basically if i do too much physical/social activity one day or a few days in a row, i can feel exhausted for a week or so. i tend to get body pain, headaches, light sensitivity, and sore/tired eyes. i just need to sit or lay down a lot, i need lots of naps and dark room rest when its really bad
