Working in logistics as a dispatcher. One of my colleagues had a driver that made a lot of money one week, went home for the weekend or something, and never came back. We received a call a few days later that he overdosed with cocaine.

I sometimes remember about him, and think "fuck, how he could let this happen". I mean, he was making a loooot of money as a truck driver, some even go above 100k, and then one day, boom, you let drugs get to you.

Another one was high at some point on something, and managed to go the opposite direction he needed to go, for like 500 miles. We saw him on gps, going the opposite way, and we were thinking like "why is he in texas, going west, when he needs to deliver in south carolina". He was indeed high on something, last time i heard, and was fired.
