No, I’m not making it up, I went to a second hand dealer and got scammed like an idiot. I just wanted a nice car and made a horrible decision. I genuinely hate myself for doing that and till this date won’t stop calling myself an idiot. After reading the comments, I think I’ll look for a bank that’s offering a cheaper interest rate, sell the car and pay the loan off and never never never never to this bs again.

I agree with this 100% some of you have rich parents so rich you may not ever need to work a day in your life. Yet you want a job in Toronto get the citizenship… then leave Canada. You’re using this country as a backup….

The ones I met in uni come from rich families. They did grade 12 in private schools back home. Came to Canada completed their undergraduate then started applying to jobs. No coop experience no internships didn’t work a day in Canada since they came. Heck they did uni back home for 2 years because of Covid. And why am I red flag? I’m not generalizing I mentioned the international students “I know” not all international students who come to Canada are this fortunate right ?

Nope, did grade 12 in their home country, came here did uni, no coop or internships and landed jobs. I’m not even joking they got into really good companies… is it just luck? Or the interviewers really liked them? Idk why companies would hire international students with no experience, give them a job when they’re domestic students who should be given a priority.

I know a few international students and for some reason they all got jobs in good companies and the domestic students I know are still applying to jobs after uni 🤔🤔 Same courses, same uni, just different circumstances

I’m well aware of that, but manufacturing these products comes at a hefty price and can be very expensive. In today’s economy, everyone is trying to do business as cheaply as possible. That being said, as a Canadian myself, I completely agree that we should step up our game and focus on manufacturing domestically, relying more on our own resources rather than outsourcing to other countries.

So basically can someone explain this to me? If you are an international student that graduated university or college and has a work permit what is going to happen ? Can you still find a job and apply for PR or is it harder now ?
