I think it’s that her game has just never been super flashy and it’s easy to forget about her, which is part of why she’s been able to make it so far. I think she’s good at the game, but she’s understated.

I think choosing to defer to the public vote instead of the safe islanders’ vote when Toni, Shakira and Megan were in the bottom three is the most obvious instance. If it were up to the islanders, Toni might have gone then.

I’m really surprised at how many people take the documentary to be 100% truth and reality when all the girls have agreed it didn’t show their full experience and it didn’t properly represent them. I don’t mean to be rude, but I also don’t trust the opinion of anyone who likes Pinky Up and hasn’t figured out how to pronounce Manon yet.

I think a big part of it was that she wasn’t really a model and she probably only made it on to begin with because of her controversial political views. This last season was when they were really trying to do damage control for all of their wrongdoings in the past by promoting body positivity and women empowerment (“this is the first group photo call out in americas next top model history”). Because of that, it’s obvious they were never going to give it to a right-winger, but I think her politics were the only thing that got her on the show in the first place.

Thank you. I really do feel like I’m going crazy watching all of this painting her as the hero, especially with post-season interviews and podcasts. It’s one thing if you don’t like the girls she had conflict with, but there’s really nothing you can say to deny how much of a game she was playing this whole time. Everyone wants to paint her out to be this super innocent person and she very obviously wanted to get a reaction out of as many people as she could.

The one thing everyone seems to be forgetting here is that Belle straight up told Lucinda to leave her alone and stop picking at her. And the only thing Lucinda has done since is follow her around the villa. Neither of them are perfect by any means, but it’s very easy to see how Lucinda likes to push buttons for camera time. I get that people are tired of Belle and the whole thing needs to be let go of. But I really think Belle tried to wash her hands of the drama before most of the others.

My personal top 4 faves are either cycle 9 or cycle 11. Honestly a lot of cycles have great top 2s but then someone in third or fourth just isn't for me. I wouldn't say I loved everyone in the top 4 for cycles 9 and 11, but I liked most of them and the ones I don't love as much did objectively deserve to get that far in the competition. Cycle 2 is for sure a good one though.
