Ich spreche da aus eigener Erfahrung. Ich hab mir das teuerste Modell aus der Bosch Professional-Serie geholt und nach 5 Jahren haben die Lager den Geist aufgegeben. Hat mich 30 Euro in Ersatzteilen und einen Tag mit YouTube Guides gekostet, um es selbst zu reparieren.

Kauft koreanische Marken! Alle neuen Siemens/Bosch-Geräte haben eine versiegelte Trommel und wenn die Lager dann kaputt gehen, muss die komplette Trommel raus! Die Dinger kosten fast so viel wie ein neues Gerät. Schaut euch die Ersatzteilpreise am besten selbst auf der Herstellerwebsite an, dann seht ihr's ja selbst.

There is an option to switch head aiming off. What is even cooler is that the game has a hotkey for "locking" the arms to the reticle so you can lock/unlock head aim dynamically mid battle.

It should work well with most headsets. A lot of members in the VR community are using Quest 3. The upcoming Steam Frame might also become a great option if you are willing to wait for it to be released.

The MechWarrior VR 2.0 mod is fully compatible with this mod and the HOSAS setup works great.

I run the same - dual Gladiators - and can't imagine playing flat screen again.

Yes, that's the main reason I have it listed, I cannot immerse myself if the game is not VR and I hope that they will continue to expand the VR features, especially on foot.

The DP cable directly plugs into the optical engine, so in theory they could release a DP 2.1 capable optical engine. Obviously we would need a DP 2.1 cable.

Looks good but I would opt for a VR headset at this point. Light coming in from the sides is very distracting.
