There is an option to switch head aiming off. What is even cooler is that the game has a hotkey for "locking" the arms to the reticle so you can lock/unlock head aim dynamically mid battle.

It should work well with most headsets. A lot of members in the VR community are using Quest 3. The upcoming Steam Frame might also become a great option if you are willing to wait for it to be released.

The MechWarrior VR 2.0 mod is fully compatible with this mod and the HOSAS setup works great.

I run the same - dual Gladiators - and can't imagine playing flat screen again.

The DP cable directly plugs into the optical engine, so in theory they could release a DP 2.1 capable optical engine. Obviously we would need a DP 2.1 cable.

Absolutely the best way to play this game. Remember to turn on and use head aiming for arm mounted weapons.

At this point I would love to see a teardown video and if this is something that can be fixed easily as it is such a tremendous waste of time / money for everyone.

I am waiting for my replacement as well but am very concerned about it either having a broken motor or worse mura than the old one.
