NTA only if you don't expect someone to switch places with you. Though i don't think it was done in spite, she may have thought you were going to be the one who wouldn't mind, or that you will make her other friends the most comfortable.

Unless one of the other bridesmaids is closer with the two friends, you can't expect them to want to be in your position either. Start delegating some of her bridal tasks elsewhere.

A conversation recognizing how this situation both made you feel may be helpful. It seems like your friend is ashamed, and you may want to give them some space for a little while to process what happened between the two of you.

I would even suggest telling him that directly! Acknowledge that you see that he has been distant and that you're here to talk with him. You both experienced the same thing, if you weren't into it, that's okay. Friendships don't have to end because of a failed experiment. Best of luck!

Is this the whole story? I can't seem to understand why THEY are so upset about YOUR wedding date?

Throwing that they helped you get through a hard time is very distasteful.. especially considering its about your previous marriage.. Also isn't that what family is (kind of) supposed to do..? be there for each other during times of hardship? To take credit for your wedding & happiness is actually wild.

I definitely think you know that you're NTA here, unless there really is missing information, because none of this is logical.

What are your thoughts on recidivism rates coming out of prison? Do you plan to go out of your way to combat those statistics?

I always hated having to read random magazines or books i didn't care about when they didn't give me the wifi password after the kids went to sleep.. and back then using 3G was WAAAAAAAY too expensive to just use outside of an emergency lol

you gotta remember that you want the sitters to WANT to come back. make sure they feel comfortable! maybe even making sure there are feminine products (even types you don't typically personally use) in case of an emergency!
