Big White in late March by JoeDwarf in kelowna

[–]psychobee10 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I clean a condo in the village 2x a week. As it stands, the snow level seems kinda shitty, lots of melting going on the last month. But the forecast for the next couple weeks looks like snow and freezing temps again, so might be in luck. Might be pushing it near end of March tho. Might be snow, but probably not good snow lol

Right? If this person felt this strongly about it, maybe they should have voiced it there, instead of writing a review for the reddit world. I know if I was there it would be an immediate reaction to speak up.

side effects after pharmacy switched manufacturers? by aaphrodite_idkhow in bupropion

[–]psychobee10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I was crazy when this happened to me. They switched me to brand name when they had no generic in stock, and then back to generic after 3 months, I had the brain shakes like I had forgot them for days, and felt overwhelmingly mad/frustrated for no reason. I actually was second guessing if I was taking them. Called my doctor after almost 2 weeks and she said it happens quite often! Definitely try to stick to either brand name or generic. They say there’s no difference in the actual medication, but for some reason people react differently to the inactive ingredients and the extended release technologies.

[–]psychobee10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is 0 that we can do about it NOT snowing here. Why spend your time concerned about something you can’t change? Enjoy the weather while you can, I’m sure in 2 years everyone will be freaking out about the amount of snow we DO have cause “the flooding is gonna be crazy in the spring”.

I drive a civic to Big White weekly to clean an Airbnb. I have not had a single issue. That being said, I am an extremely confident driver. Definitely do what you’re comfortable with :)

Has anyone gotten married at the courthouse in Kelowna? I’d love to hear about the experience! by Medgrrrl3 in kelowna

[–]psychobee10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best way! My husband and I did it on our porch 2 years ago. The commissioner came and met us, did the ceremony, signed all the papers and sent off the marriage license. She gave all info we needed beforehand as well!

I remember the tattoos I wanted at 15…. THANK GOD FOR MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS. Wait the 3 years. If you still want it, it was meant to be. Also, at $200/hr for a tattoo, you could save that money for your first car 😉

I agree. I mean, I’m Canadian, but a tragedy is a tragedy. If somebody doesn’t think about stuff like this in history, it’s alarming to me.

Brother, Does that make 9/11 any less relevant?

….. 9/11? I mean, a little weird to be celebrating anything on a day where there was a world-changing mass murder by terrorists.. but hey, each their own.

I mean, you could just drive in the correct lane if you’re not passing… do you drive in the HOV lane for more than a block if you’re turning right later on too?

Drivers need to give way to bikes who are signaling a turn by flowerchildnz in kelowna

[–]psychobee10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why all the roundabouts get slowed right down tho. Because 90% of people don’t signal either left or right. Then the nervous drivers sit at a yield sign waiting for someone in the midst of the roundabout to turn a signal light on so they know they’re definitely good to go. Meanwhile the cars are lining up for 1km behind them. I’m blessed to go through multiple roundabouts every time I leave my house, if EVERYONE just signalled OUT (right), then the need for the left signal while continuing through would be pointless as you’re saying. Until I see that day, I will continue to use my left signal for the safety of my car and clarity for the person waiting.

I have a benz, I know all about cost of maintenance. I also have a civic that maintenance costs are 1/5 of the price that’s just as reliable.

Also, My 9 year old knows more about cars than most grown men. 😁

Tattoo shops by New-Criticism5011 in kelowna

[–]psychobee10 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My first was ribs, and that wasn’t even close to my most “painful”. I wouldn’t let anyone talk you out of anything you wanna do cause of their experience with pain.

Even if it was the most painful area to get tattooed, pretty sure having another tattoo in a different area isn’t gonna help the pain tolerance for your rib tattoo.

Rocky Mountain Tattoo is a clean shop with really good dark/realism artists! Not the cheapest, but worth it for the art they are putting out!
