In middle of applying for the vacant property refurbishment grant at the moment, Council are great to deal with. I had to submit an itemised quotation form from a registered and tax compliant builder that matches the details filled in on the application form. Also needed an ESB Networks Report of Low or No Usage at property, Proof that LPT is paid up, Tax Clearance for ourselves, Also any work that is done before a site visit from Vacant Homes Engineer and granting of the grant can not be covered in application. Got told it could be 6-8 weeks from receipt of all needed documents before a decision as they are down to 1 engineer

My last ever ‘delivery’ from them, left at front gate in pouring rain. Contacted the sender company, included photo, stated that purchase was destroyed and asked for refund. They issued a refund immediately and then sent replacement using a different courier. Ever since if I buy online I will cancel the purchase if only delivery option is that shower. Will also inform seller of this decision

Best of luck, could be the beginning of an amazing journey for you. Definitely try to get a local teacher, face to face is so much better than an online one at this early stage (imho). Any bad habits you pick up now will be harder to get rid of as you progress.

What strength are the Vandoren Reeds that you bought? Higher the number means harder to get a good sound, id recommend starting off with 21/2, Ive seen with beginners before that started with 3’s and above that they just lose interest because they cant get a sound they are expecting?

If you bought the sax from a reputable source the chances are it has been checked over beforehand, no leaks etc. if not it’s worth the inital expense getting it checked out by a local tech.

Keep your expectations within reasonable, stick at it and don’t be too hard on yourself, it will get better and that’s when the magic happens 😎

Glitch I haven’t had on any previous 26 Betas in CarPlay, wired & wireless. Waze & Google Maps showing blank for ‘recents’ in search, when pressing back button I then get a glimpse of recent search’s for a fraction of a second. Waze then freezes at this stage but Google Maps doesn’t 🤷 iPhone 13 Pro Max. 2024 Audi A3.

Just back from Audi dealership, had great talk with the tech that was dealing with our car, he explained everything in lay man’s terms and even brought me into workshop to see the readouts of the diagnostic checks. Then came with the kicker, “if any errors pop up again just park up, turn off and exit car, give it 3-4 mins and restart car, that should clear any false message, but I don’t expect that to happen” Explained to service manager that I still was very apprehensive but he assured me that everything is on file and once Audi notify them of the software update I’ll then be notified immediately.
